When Dean pulls up in front of the cabin, Zach and Jamie are outside waiting for him. No words are exchange as Dean helps get Laine out of the car undisturbed, handing her off to Jamie who takes her inside to tend to her. He would have gotten here sooner, but with the frequent stops he made to check that she was still okay, their arrival was a bit delayed.

Staring after Jamie as he enters the cabin, Dean can't stop the guilt that floods through him at the sight of Laine in his arms. If he would have been there a few minutes earlier, she wouldn't be like that. He knows things could be worse, but it still pains him to see her hurt.

Dean is snapped out of his inner turmoil when Zach comes up beside him, a pained look on his face.

"You okay?" Zach's eyes are also glued to the closed door of the cabin, but he soon looks away and over to Dean. The concern is etched into all his features, and Dean can't decipher if that emotion is directed at him or the remnants from seeing Laine.

"Yeah, fine," Dean says, looking away from his brother. He knows his brother means well, but he can't deal with looks like that right now. He doesn't want to talk about what happened, how he feels about it, or anything of the sort; not right now, not so soon after it happened. "I need your help with something."

"Yeah, anything." Zach doesn't even pause to contemplate before speaking, offering his help without hesitation. That's something he and Dean share – a complete willingness to help those closest to them – and it's a trait that reminds Dean so much of their mother.

Shaking off those thoughts, Dean walks to the back of the car, Zach following him. He unlocks the trunk and pops it open, revealing the body within. A surprised look crosses Zach's face as he stares at the half-demon.

"Two questions," Zach says, eyes still glued to the body in the trunk. "First, is he dead? Second, why the Hell is he in your trunk?"

"His neck's broken, but he's healing, so..." Dean shrugs, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. The bastard deserves a whole lot more for trying to kidnap Laine, and Dean won't let anyone tell him otherwise. "As for why he's in there, he tried to nab Laine. We got in a scrap, I won. Figured we could knock some answers outta him and see why he tailed us."

"Huh." Zach nods, face shifting into an expression that's a mix between appreciation and bafflement. When he looks away from the body and towards Dean, there is an edge to his normally soft eyes. "What're we waiting for then?"

Dean nods, a grin on his face, as his faith in his brother pays off. "I'll grab the body, you go set up the spot in the garage. We're gonna need some chains and probably a couple sigils."

Zach doesn't waste any time before he heads off into the garage to prepare a holding area for the Cambion.

Turning back to the body in the trunk, a sigh escapes Dean when he notes the droplets of blood that have stained the bottom of the trunk. Maybe he'll make the Cambion clean his vehicle as a form of torture. Before Dean can think any more on that, he brushes off those thoughts and gets to work.

Grabbing the man's arm, Dean lugs him out of the trunk and slings him over his shoulder. He walks towards the garage and through the door Zach left open, heading to the back. Thankfully, his brother works fast. A chair is already set up in the middle and sigils are now painted on the concrete floor.

"Should be all good. Made sure to use the strongest bindings I could think of." Zach looks up from his spot on the floor, a paintbrush in his left hand.

"Good work," Dean says, nodding his head in approval.

"Thanks." A small grin works its way onto Zach's face, but he turns his head away before Dean can really see it. He shakes his head once before standing, the smile wiped off and replaced with cold determination. "Let's get him tied up."
