"But I only just got here," The guy smirks. "It's not very hospitable of you to kick me out so soon."
"I don't care."
"That's unfortunate. I even showed you who I am without the mask, thought it would help you warm up to me." He raises an eyebrow, staring at me with a cocky glint in his eye. It's his own fault for showing me his face and not receiving anything in return.
I mean, seriously.
It's just his face.
"What kind of idiot vigilante are you? Doesn't the word vigilante basically mean 'a person who nobody knows, going around saving people or something like that'? Aren't you supposed to hide your identity? Faces and all?"
"It's not like you know who I am. You don't even know my name." His smirk only grows as he speaks, my cheeks becoming hot from annoyance. At least what I hope is annoyance and not anything else.
"I-"
"And who are you going to tell? Your one friend?" He cuts me off, crossing his toned arms over his even more aggressively toned chest.
How does he even know about my one friend? Or did he just say that to take a shot at me? Either way, this guy terrifies the living daylights out of me and I kinda just want him out of the range of my apartment. Sure, he's super extremely attractive but he's also super extremely dangerous and scary. I take a shaky breath, pinching the bridge of my nose in an attempt to calm myself down before I pass out.
"You're a jerk, you know that?" I sigh. "Just - what do you even want?"
"To say thank you. I'm pretty sure I already told you that though." He rolls his bright green eyes, staring down at me due to our height difference. I'm not even short, this dude is just a damn giraffe.
"Ok, so you said thanks."
"Technically, I didn't." He teases, the corners of his lips twitching upwards when I release an angered grunt. What did the idiot even mean? This 'Red Hood' seems to really enjoy pressing my buttons and the fact that I can't counter him just makes me even more angry at him. My fists clench at my sides. Who does he even think he is?
"Oh my god, you little sh- "
"Thank you. For helping me out last night, I appreciate it."
"No you don't," I glare at him, my gaze becoming even harsher as he chuckles. "Now leave."
"I like you. You're entertaining."
"I hate you. You're a dick." I retort, moving to shut the window. Just as I raise my arms, the guy grabs them and gently pushes me to the side, climbing right into my apartment.
I stand staring out the window in astonishment with my mouth open and moving but no words falling out. With a groan, I turn around and glare at him. He just smiles at me, taking a seat on my bed and picking up the remote to my averagely sized television.
"You've got a comfortable bed, great for a nice-"
"Get out of my house!" I yell, staring at him with widened eyes. Once again, who does he think he is? I glance at one of the shiny guns that can barely be seen in it's strap on his leg, shivering in fear. He has a freaking gun. A gun.
