Introduction Of Amaryllis

Located at the base of a Willow, below the blades of grass and carpet of moss, beneath the ever-shifting grains of soil, a girl lies in the shadows of despair. With sun-kissed skin and long slender legs, her elegant fingers flutter gracefully across ivory keys. Long ebony tresses cascades down her over an elegant dress of turquoise feathers, speckled with white spots. Hidden beneath long black lashes, two navy blue pools of hope look out, seeking company in the shadows. Her beautiful and transparent wings of gold, shimmer and shine in the vast expanse of darkness, her source of light apart from the hole above her which allows a couple of rays fall upon her features. Playing every note with her heart and hoping that while the notes drift out of her dungeon, someone would hear her silent and desperate cries for freedom.

Playing gently, she closed her eyes in content because the notes from the piano are her hope, the very thing that keeps her little flame flickering despite the circumstances that she was in. They offered her a sense of security and contemplation. Remembering all her days above ground, her days where she was the innocent(ish) princess fluttering around without a care in the world. Her beloved notes are her memories that she releases to free her mind and soothe her heart of the terror that happened. Her memories are the silver thread that keeps her connected to her sanity, otherwise it would have been long gone by now.

As each one unfolds before her eyes, like the petals of a rose blooming, she couldn't stop the sense of loneliness that engulfed her heart. Remembering her first day in this world, a blurry momery yet she remembered it all the same
