"We found her"
Those three words. Three words that made all of Xavier's blood rush to his head.
An echoing laugh filled the quiet room and the two guest were looking at Xavier in bewilderment. "Ahah- your kidding me? After three hah- mother fuckin years hahah- you want me to believe that? And how many times have you hahaha- played those kind of stupid pranks?" Xavier was laughing so hard that he started crying. But at the back of his mind he didn't know why he was acting like this. Weren't you just thinking about her like 10 minutes ago?
Yeah and?
Yeah, so now that she's been found you don't want to know where she is or how she is? I mean you have been unable to stop thinking about her you flying idiot!
Oh stuff some feathers in it okay! I'm just not so sure that it's true and-
"Xavier!" A loud and booming voice shook Xavier out of his internal argument. "What are you doing?".
Scratching the back of his neck sheepishly he replied "Well, I'm not too sure aye? I don't know if I should believe you or just tell you to go and fuck yourself. But honestly, this isn't some sort of cruel joke you two are playing right? Cause if it is, find somewhere to hide" Xavier said with a hint of venom in his voice.
"No, this isn't a joke and do you really think that we're that cruel?" Xavier rolled his eyes as he went to go and sit down on the couch.
Although, physically, he wasn't too certain if he should listen he could feel his wings itching to go and find her. It kept twitching every now and then until finally when he couldn't seem to calm down, he said out loud "lets do this"
"Now we're talking" Captain said as he stretched his wings and in the process knocking down the already limited things in the trunk room (get it? Like tree trunk? Trunk.... Nevermind)
The sound of heavy whooshing could be heard coming from outside. Xavier's hand itched towards the dagger in his belt. Suddenly a booming voice echoed from outside the room "So are you two lovebirds done or are you still going like teenage pixies?" Xavier released his hold on the dagger and sighed. Shaking his head he released a chuckle and walked towards the entrance, Cap following behind him.
