I heard Raphael and the others laugh and make bad jokes aboutmundanes and what not. But after about fifteen minutes, the noisefaded, and Raphael came back, looking relieved. He gave me a small, reassuring smile, as he opened a casket. "You can either have thespare one, or share mine" Raphael said, and gestured to the biggerof the two. It was only now that I noticed the size difference.

"I think I am comfortable enough to share with you, if you don'tmind" I said and smiled a little.

"Usually, I would say, yes I do mind..." The mischievous spark inhis eyes was back, and his arrogant smirk laced his lips intosomething, I would call kissable lips. Wait, what? "... But sinceit is you" He smiled, and opened his casket. He climbed in, sittingupright, while waiting for me. I lifted my shoulders, and climbed inbeside him. I turned over to my side, and braced myself for his coldskin to touch mine.

Raphael picked up a book from the foot end of the casket and placedit between the edge of the bottom part and the lid, so it wouldn'toverheat or strangle me. Raphael wrapped an arm around my waist, before we both fell asleep. Or so I thought.

... ... ...

"Elizabeth?" I heard a whisper. I tried to sit up, but my headhit something hard, and I clapped both my hands over my forehead. Iheard a low chuckle from behind me. Raphael, of course, tookamusement of my pain. "I have a question for you..."

"And you woke me up because of it?" I groaned in a hushed voice.Raphael chuckled again, before he opened the lid to the casket. A dimlight flowed in, and Raphael supported himself to his elbows. Ilooked at his face, taking in his features. That's when I noticed hisface. It was filled with hunger. I smiled and drew out my knife andstele. "I am always prepared" I smiled, and sliced my skin, so hecould drink.

"I was just about to ask if you were hungry" I shook my head, andoffered my arm to Raphael. Raphael licked the wound in a lustful way,and I could hear his low, almost not audible moan as he swallowed alittle of my blood. I slid up in a sitting position, pressing mywound to his lips. Raphael took a hold of my elbow and wrist like hehad the last time, and drank slowly. I leaned my head backwards, andbit my underlip, holding back a moan in my throat.

After a minute, Raphael separated himself from my arm, and licked hislips. I drew the healing-rune on my arm, and placed the knife andstele outside the casket. I turned to look at Raphael, who lookedlike he wanted to hide. "What?"

"I feel so ashamed" Raphael whispered. I smiled a sympatheticsmile, and cupped his cheek in my left hand. Raphael leaned into myhand, and placed a soft, but friendly gestured kiss on my wrist. Icaressed the side of his face with my thumb.

"Don't feel ashamed..." I said, holding my smile at him. "...Remember, I did offer it to you"

"I know, but..."

"No, buts, Raphael Santiago!" I yelled in a hushed voice. Raphaellooked at me with pleading eyes.

"You have no idea what it does to me" He said and looked away.
