I rose from my sleep, it had been one hell of a day yesterday. One of my questions had been answer but not with the rising of more questions. My legs ached from riding Salvatore. I figured that it'd be best not to do that again and if I wanted to I'd need padding of some kind. Like a saddle. Salvatore let out a cry and I let him go hunting, In the mean time I'd need some more food and supplies for building. I took a minute to enter my gem and got out some berries. The gem released a bright light then it fabricated the berries in front of my eyes. They were red berries, my gem called them 'Tinto Berries'.
I decided I'd go to the orchard for food and resources. There was a light gust of wind blowing on my face, as I entered the orchard, I heard the chirps of unfamiliar birds and the deep growls of the beast that were roaming within. I soon caught sight of the birds I had seen yesterday. They waddled around beside one of the large beasts that had three horns. I crept towards them. I picked up a stone on the way there. I waited for the beast to turn away from the birds, so I could hit them with a rock to scare them. It turned, it seemed like the perfect throw. The beast turned again and the rock went flying into it's face. Regret filled me. It let out a roar then charged in my direction. I sprinted away. It was slowly gaining on me. I just wanted the birds damn it! I hid behind a tree and entered my gem, I got out a spear and readied myself. The sound of its foot steps struck fear into me. I rolled away from the tree.

The tree was smashed to the ground, chucks of wood and splinters flew every where. I panted heavy and quickly got up to start running again. I quickly turned and threw my spear at it. It flew into its head, but just broke in half. Well spears are useless. I hid behind a rock. It's restless foot steps eventually stopped, I heard it grumble in pain. Peaked out from the rock. I was left in disbelief. A giant scorpion was attacking it from behind! The giant beast turned to face the scorpion. It swung it's horns in anger. The scorpion just briskfully jumped back. It was like it was taunting it. The scorpion circled it, stabbing it with it's stinger. The giant beast eventually crumbled and fell to the ground with a crash. It made no sound. Had the scorpions venom knocked it out? The scorpion continously attacked its under belly eventually killing the beast letting it feast upon it. I stared in horror at what I had just witnessed. I couldn't believe the scorpion had taken down the huge beast, it was more than double it's size! I turned back from peaking out at the attack and returned to hunting the birds. I got another spear out and ran over to the unprotected dodos. Only one was left, the others were gone probably spooked by the big beast. Finally nothing was in my way. I threw my spear at it but at that exact moment a large bird like creature dived upon it, the creature was very thin and skin. No bigger than the scorpion. It was paint green and on top of it was a person riding it, they were inevitably apart of the 'Green' tribe. They seemed to be wearing a camouflage suit. Within a split second they were flying away with the bird. I watched them go in dismay and amazement. That was the last bird but that was amazing! Some one was riding a flying bird creature. I watched them fly past the giant ridge, I was too close to the cliff to see what was over it. I guess that what ever this 'Green' group was they were over that rock formation. I looked around for more little birds. None were in site. I sighed, it seemed that I'd have to risk something more dangerous.

As I was walking through the orchard I saw a white beam pounding the ground with its light, it was on a hill ahead, just at the dipping point of the cliff. I ran towards it, the giant bugs didn't seem bothered by me when I ran by. I kept my eyes on the white light almost tripping up on the branches of trees. Eventually I had left the orchard. The beam swirled and turned on spot. I saw a black thing within the beam that resembled the great structure I had seen in my dreams. It's designs and colour vibrance was similar. However the designs on this Black structure glowed a bright white colour. I was soon on the hill. The beam of lught was pounding ln the ground where the structure was going to land. It's light was blinding making it difficult to see the black structure. It slowly fell towards the ground like a hover craft. I got close to it but I didn't dare walk into the beam. The black structure was made up of slants and polygons with gaps in between which created the patterns. As the came I for its landing a light shock wave continously pulsed the ground. I jumped back from it in fear of what it could do to me. The polygonal structure planted itself firmly into the ground, it shook for a moment under the pounding light beam. Then it steadied. It sent out a large pulse of light that managed to touch my shins. My eyes widened with fear. I looked down and pull up my cloth trousers. They looked fine. A wave of relief flushed over me. I looked at the black structure. It worried me but I took the risk. I walked towards it with cation. The pulses of light touched me with no effect. I reached out to touch the black thing. It was smooth and lightweight metal similar to aluminium. I ran my hands along it. Nothing happened. I touched the center piece that stuck out from the rest. When I touched it my gem glowed and the polygons separated. A blinding light flowed outwards filling my eyes similarly to when I used my gem. Instinctively I raise my right arm, my gem glowed brightly. It seemed to interact with the box light flowed between them and suddenly my eyes were filled.
It showed me a similar display to the stuff I had in my gem. It showed a bed, thirty pieces of fiber and fifty hide. I reach out and touched the bed, I floated towards me then disappeared, a second later I felt a little tingle in my gem. The same thing happened when I touched the hide and fiber. I was then flung from the box. It had pulsed me back and I landed on my back. The black structure crumbled into several pieces and the white light faded away.

I checked my gem to see if the things I selected had been transfered.
I soon found that indeed they had been. Was this like a supply drop? If so who sent them? Did the island itself create them? I wasn't really sure. All I cared about right now was the fact that I was now so close to the cliff dip and the fact that I had a real bed now! The sleeping bag was mildly comfortable but didn't handle my restless nights very well.

I quested towards the cliff. I started to climb the hill leading up to the cliff landing. It wasn't a struggle at all, apart from the occasion rock I stepped on, off putting my balance. Once I had reach the top I realised that I was on the edge of a forest. It looked deep and dark, I would avoid it at all costs.
The sun's position suggested that it was late afternoon. It had been a long day and I couldn't wait to get to the ridge. I started to run but slowed down into a jog due to the weight I beared, the ridge seemed ages away but I knew it wouldn't take that long. I'd be there before night at least. As I walked along my gem stated to glow brightly, it's beam consumed me and I knew what was going to happen next. It had happened about nine times now. I was taken by my gem to a state where the gem asked what I wanted to 'Upgrade'. I went with carry weight. It went from '140 - 150' the increase was significant. I felt lighter and I could start into a steady run with out feeling too burdened again.
My feet were crunching on the plants and leaves I run through. I was dangerously aware of it. The forest beside me eventually disappear opening up in an open field with plants and big beasts. I saw bugs fly around them. This was extremely close to the ridge.

A rush of heavy foot steps came from behind me. I turned around to see a large beast, bigger than what the beasts that the riders were using. Yet it was much smaller than the beast in my dreams. It had freakishly small arms, however two blunt horns that looked more like bumps made up for it. I ran.
It continued to chase me relentlessly. I looked ahead, there was some three horned beasts ahead. The plants in the field looked big enough to hide under. I ran for it. As the three horned beast bent down to eat the plants, I slid under the it's belly and the small armed beast slammed into it. The three horn turned to attack it. Once it did a few others came over to help it defeat the beast. They all rammed it in unison. I felt a pang of guilt. They were just peacefully eating here and they are now under attack.
The large beast couldn't handle the pressure it had a gash in one leg that was pouring out blood and turned to run away. It was limping but was still faster than the the three horned beasts.
I took a deep breath and silently thanked the three horned beasts. It be better if I came up with a name for them... Horny? No... not really appropriate. Tri - horn? Maybe, ah wait. Trident! Yeah that'll work. The Tridents returned, the one that was initially attacked lay down the rest and the others went back to eating plants. I smiled at them in gratitude then turned back to the ridge. As I walked towards the ridge I spotted a little dip in it like a huge natural balcony that looked down on the orchard. Down in the orchard the scorpion was attacking the three dilos, one looked to be dead due to the blood, the other two were knocked out. That thing is an absolute monster. The balcony had a large collection of huge boulders. As I walked around I saw that the boulders had a nice little clearing in the middle of them. It looked perfect for a house, protection from all side but one, pretty good for defense. But I didn't have much in the ways of defence anyway. I needed something more protected. I continued round the balcony to the set of rocks beside it. Nothing there. I continued on to what just seemed like another bunch of boulders. I looked closer, there was a small gap between the boulders. I quietly walked over then crouched down and attempted to squeeze through the gap, the gap was longer than I thought, it curved round and opened up into exactly what I wanted. A small clearing just big enough for a modest house. Not as big as the other clearing but fully encased by rocks, hidden from any beasts and potential humans, though I hoped it wouldn't come to that.
Night was falling, It would be best to make a fire. I soon rejected this idea. It would draw attention to me and people or beasts may find my little hidden home. I entered my gem and got to work.
Let's start with those foundations I learned.
