(AN: sorry about not updating for awhile, I've been very busy lately. My baby brother just had his 1st birthday party last Saturday, which meant I was completely busy until it was over with. Plus I got a new puppy who got sick a few days ago, so I've been taking care of him. Now enough with my excuses! @Sidemen4ever requested this awhile ago so I'm finally wrote something! I hope you enjoy!)

Josh's POV:

"Hey Josh, do you think I've wasted my life?" Vikk asks me suddenly.

"What? Of course not Vikky! Why would you even think that?" I say quickly while looking at the boy sitting beside me.

"I don't know.. My parents say I'm wasting my life and I can't help to somewhat believe them.." Vikk tells me.

"Don't listen to them, Vikky. If you were doing something else then we wouldn't have met and you'd be unhappy. After all you hated the future they planned for you." I say to him.

"Yeah.. Thanks Josh. I love you. I wouldn't know what I'd do without you." Vikk says looking at me smiling.

"I love you too, Vikky." I tell him before kissing him, but suddenly we're interrupted by the sound of Vikk's phone going off. We part away from each other so he can answer the phone.

"Hello? Oh hey, mum. What? No. I won't do that. I love what I'm doing. Mum calm down. What? Stop. He is not a bad influence! Stop saying that!" Vikk yells into the phone, quickly getting upset.

I quickly reach over and take the phone from him. "Hello? Mrs. Barn?"

"Who is this?! Put that boy back on the phone! We're not done talking!"

"I'm Josh, Vikk's boyfriend. You're conversation is over with him. I won't stand back and watch as the love of my life gets upset over something someone else is doing to him. He loves what he's doing in life, he loves me as well, if you can't see that then leave. Break his heart completely by making him lose his mum. I'll be here to pick up the pieces, like I always do after he talks to you. Goodbye, Mrs. Barn." I say then hang up on her.

"Josh? Are you mad? At me?" Vikk asks quietly.

"Not at you Vikky. At her, she doesn't deserve to be your mum." I say while hugging him as he cries.

"Thank you, Josh. For being here for me all the time." Vikk says.

"I'll always be here for you. That's a promise." I tell him.

Vikk smiles at that, I never make promises so he knows I mean what I said. "I love you." Vikk tells me.

"I love you too." I tell him before kissing him again, this time not being interrupted.
