Chapter 26 The end of an Era

Tonight is the night. Time to say goodbye to idol. Say goodbye to this show.

Ive been through so much on this show. I was attacked, cheated on, found love, and found amazing friends I can count on.

The show started off with all the returning members coming back. Which was cool. And Trent and I performed a duet together. Which was really good.

Today I also got to meet Jessica Sanchez. Who I call Até to show my respect.

She is super cool.

I was in the back. In my dressing room spending time with Mack. Where we were watching a movie and sitting on the couch.

"5 minutes Kristine," Jessica yelled to me.

Her and I have a duet tonight. For she wanted to sing with me. And I'm not stupid enough to deny that.

It was kindve hard though to tell the returning idols that Dalton and I broke up. But they seem supportive.

I got to the stage in my pink strapless dress. Which fell right above my knee. With my hair curled and done.

I walked to the back to see Dalton with Lee talking. And I passed one of the doors to see Mack come out.

"Wow," I heard him say.

I saw Jessica and walked up to her.

"Kristine you look beautiful," Jessica complimented.

"Thank you," I replied. "Let's rock it."

I walked out with her ready to sing our song.

Everyone applauded and I can honestly say that I am happy.

I went to back where everyone else was. And I was having fun with all of them.

I missed this. When all my friends started getting eliminated. It started not being the same.

But now all my friends are back.

I was in my dressing room when my waist started to hurt.

I heard the door open.

"Kristine," I heard the voice which I knew all to well.

"Dalton just help me to the couch," I told him.

"We gotta get someone to look at that," Dalton says as he placed me on the couch.

"I'll be fine just hand me that ice," I told him.

"Kristine," Dalton responded.

"Dalton stop okay just go to Madison," I told him.

Which in know is harsh. But I just don't know how I should be around him.

"Kristine I didn't want it to end this way," Dalton implies.

"Well it did happen like this. And Dalton I can't right now please," I told him.

Dalton nodded.

I felt myself start to cry. And in came my Ates came into the room.

And instantly they came and hugged me tight. I love me Ate they all always know what to do and say to make me feel better.

I went to go find Mack. And I saw him looking out the window. I'll admit Mack is really cute. And he is so sweet. But I don't know if I'm ready to move on after Dalton.

"Kristine its time," Trent told me.

I went out to the back for one last time. And I waited.

And it opened. Trent And I took our last march on the stage.

"Ladies and gentlemen this is what we've all been waiting for," Ryan says.

"You're winner is..."

"Kristine Reyes."

I looked at Trent. "Wait what."

"You won. Sweetheart you did it."

I felt myself starting to cry. I did it I won this entire thing.

"Ladies and gentle men singing her new song and the winner of the last american idol Kristine Reyes."

I started singing my song and I look to see my dad and my brother and all of my family members and friends. With tears in there eyes.

I looked at Dalton.

I looked into those beautiful brown eyes. The same eyes I fell in love with. The ones I made cry.

I messed up big time cheating on her with Maddie.

I will do anything to get her back. And when that time comes
