i am so sorry for the feels train.. I myself had plenty from writing this section.
also one small thing for all the other characters in this part apart from the normal i will put a parenthesis around the first initial to 's let you all know who they are if the context does not really explain very well

"Carmilla.. if you get this then- you know!" God dammit Laura. Carmilla mumbles as Laura's video ends. Why couldn't you have just listened? We could have figured something else out. Carmilla massages her temples. This was going to be a long night. Hey we should go after her. (D) For once you might be right... I will, um, meet you there. Where are you going? (D) I'm about to do something reckless... "Hell.. even you deserve better." It rang in Carmilla's head. What about the camera?(D) I'm not for heartfelt goodbyes. And so they split ways. Carmilla went after the sword and Danny went to help Laura.

We won...Laura stated, her voice cracking. Everyone but a certain seductress was sitting around her, nursing their wounds from the battle. We won. And Carmilla's dead. Tears fill Laura's eyes. She never wanted things to happen like this.

Why does Laura avoid sleeping? (R) Danny took in a deep breath. She doesn't avoid sleeping.. she avoids dreaming.(D) Laura lays in her bed, her hair disheveled and full, cold cups of cocoa lay around her untouched. Carmilla... why.. why did you go? The door creaks open. Where did I go? Carmilla! Laura starts, shocked at what she was seeing. Yes, creampuff? Carmilla replied smugly. Before Carmilla knew it she was encased with arms, which were far stronger that she thought. I.. are you okay? Where were you? Carmilla chuckled. I will answer all your questions after a shower. Yeah, you really need one. Hey! Carmilla took her shower and Laura helped bandage her up. Before they knew it Carmilla held up a cookie, out of Laura's reach. How bad do you want it, sweetheart? Carmilla yelped in surprise as Laura tugger her shirt bringing her closer for a surprise kiss.

I... I love you Carm....

Laura open her eyes and looked across the room. Carmilla's bed was still empty

Laura broke into sobs. God dammit Carm.. why? Why did you sacrifice yourself for me? Danny entered the room slowly and silently to comfort the broken journalist.

One week later..........

The lack of sleep was starting to show in Laura. I'm...I'm fine.. she would say, like an echo in a cave. Betty had moved back, well only to pack her belongings and go to the college she was originally supposed to be at. The villagers began to swarm the campus walls, angry, as if something dangerous was about to happen. Laura was distracting herself, not letting herself feel the pain, the loss, by working on a pile of homework because even in a crisis the professors never fail to hand out homework. Then the doors burst open and Perry looked frantic. Um.. hello Perry. Hi.. um something happened and I wanted to come by and tell you before you, you know, freak out. (P) Only Lola Perry, the overprotective "mother" of the dimwit squad. You know... Danny grunted. For someone her size, she really does weigh a lot. Danny came into view laying a body on Laura's bed. Carm?! Laura choked, dropping everything and rushing to her side. She wasn't breathing when we found her..but (D) ... she does have a pulse (P) Blood! She needs blood! Laura rushed to their mini-fridge, grabbing the soy milk container that still had "Mine!" written on it in bright, bold letters. Laura lifted, Carmilla's head, leaning it back gently and slowly poured the liquid into her mouth. The blood dripped over the vampires lips. Please.. please work. The trio held a collective breath as Carmilla sat up and groaned, Well that was a kick. Laura tackled the older woman in a hug. Perry whispered, We um.. we will let you two be. I believe there is some sort of a cleaning crisis that needs attending.(P) And with that she shoved Danny out of the room to give the two some peace. I.. where did you go? Why did you go, I mean I thought that you said the sword had a very slim chance of working and that you did not want to be fighting your mother... Why? Carmilla took in a deep breath and looked at the ground. There was so much to be said and there was only one thing on her mind. Laura, the daring little creampuff who, against all odds actually succeeded in freeing the millenniums worth of girls from being stolen. Carmilla stood, despite all the pain and Laura kept stuttering on, rambling about how she did not have to do all that for her. I mean.. wow.. I mean I know you.. Carmilla gazed into Laura's eyes like never before. Didn't just do it all for me.. but.. the journalist was cut short of her sentence as the vampire cupped her cheek and kissed her. Laura squealed like the dork she is and Carmilla truly smiled, then Laura tugged her vampire in again with a smooch.
