One of the most interesting things in life is when you're riding on a bus, or just simply walking, or taking an evening jog. And as the activity goes on, you begin to zone out, and you begin to think of things, that you normally wouldn't think of. Not dirty, or illegal things, but stuff thats happened over time.
Most of the time i find myself thinking of the person i used to be. Lots of people would say hashtag throwback Thursday to when i was cute! But, that it isn't it. Its the personality of the person i used to be. And i miss it. When i was younger, i was the geekiest girl you'd ever meet. I read a book series about cats in the wild, and it was like the cats were people. I wore athletic skirts, and tights, with a cat shirt and fancy sandals. Double braids, pig tails, low pony tails that looked like librarian hair. The girl who trusted everybody, and never second guessed a thing she did. The girl who knew every answer in class, and the teacher would ask her to put her hand down. Telling her other kids need a chance to answer. The girl that gave 110% into everything and anything.
Yet, its impossible to be that person now. Society has changed it to where you need to wear booty shorts and a crop top to fit in. To where if you don't have a big butt and big boobs, you don't fit in. If you read, you're a nerd. If you eat alone, you're a nobody.
I wish that society could take step back, and look at what it has become. If we could all have a throwback moment to the good times. To the good people we used to be.
