Chapter 4: Chip meets the clones

CHIPS POV

I woke up, for some reason on a stretcher. I was in one of those nightgowns you wear at the hospital for some reason, and all my joints were sore. I felt REALLY tired as well, as if I could go back to sleep for another 5 years or so. Reluctantly I got up off the stretcher to see Jesse, Blue and an enderman dressed in a green suit.

"What's going on?" I managed to ask, my throat hurting a bit as well. "I see you're finally awake, Chip," the enderman replied. "My name is Dr. Void, and I'm a mad scientist. You feel tired and achy because I took out some of your DNA and blood. You were unconcious, though, so you didn't see me do it." I was sort of shocked and confused at the same time. "What do you need it for?" I asked. "For research," Dr. Void answered with a grin. "And for my new cloning machine as well. I took some of the DNA and blood out of Blue and Jesse, too. Come and meet the clones I made." "I'm too tired..." I muttered quietly. "Can you just bring them here?" Dr. Void looked a little annoyed, but he knew that it wasn't my fault I was tired.

"Very well then," he agreed politely as three strange looking people came up. One clone was a red fox with weird eyes. "I am your clone," the fox said. "I am C7x." Another clone came up. She looked just like Jesse, except with a white hoodie instead of a black one. "I am Jesse's clone," she introduced, "I am Jesslash." The third clone came up. She would've looked exactly like Blue if her skin wasn't so pale and her hair streaks and stripes on her shirt weren't navy blue. "I am Blue's clone," she told me. "I am Navy." "Ok, clones, go do something else for now," Dr. Void ordered. "Chip needs her space!" I heard him add in something weird, but I was too tired to hear the rest.

Suddenly, Fan walked into the room. "Are you ok, Chip?" he asked. "Yeah..." I mumbled. "Just tired. Everything's hurting for some reason. I just need to sleep, thats all." "Then we'll let you sleep," Jesse said as her, Blue and Fan walked out. I closed my eyes and I was out like a light. I really DID need sleep.

After I woke up from my big siesta, I saw Jesse walk into the room. "Oh, you're awake," she said. "It's been two hours." "That doesn't matter right now," I told her in a serious tone. "I want you to tell me everything." "Everything?" "Everything that happened while my DNA was being taken out." "Ok." We both walked out of the room, then into another after I changed into my clothes.

"Your father was killed?!" I asked, shocked at what Jesse had told me. Her eyes began to fill with tears. "Y-yes..." she confirmed. "In that case, we need to find out who killed your father," I stated determinedly. "We can't just leave it as a mystery for someone else to solve. But one question. Who's your father?" Jesse looked up at me, still sobbing a bit, then looked down.

"Herobrine," she answered quietly.
