CHIPS POV
The rain had stopped by the time I got up and got dressed the next morning. All I could remember from last night was that I saw a girl, and that she was afraid of me when I tried to ask who she was. Was this just a dream?

I figured out my answer was no when I looked through the dining room window as I fixed myself a bowl of Cinnamon O's. For some reason the girl I saw last night was sleeping in the garden under a hollow bush. I opened the front door and stepped outside as Deli promptly followed me. As I put my hand on the girls shoulder, Deli sniffed her curiously. "A-are you ok? Do you need some help? What is your name?" I asked. "...Jesse," The girl mumbled quietly as she sat up. "Oh. I'm Chip." I said.

Seconds later, Jesses eyes widened as I saw them point at Deli. I suddenly jumped up in shock as she yelped, "Ahh! An enemy!" Jesse pancaked on top of Deli, who squealed fearfully. She scratched Jesses cheek and leaped away. A weird sight greeted my eyes as I looked on Deli's paws and then at the new scratch on Jesses cheek. Instead of dark red, the blood on the scratch was ice blue. "Blue blood?" I wondered as I looked at Jesse. "How come you have blue blood?"

The brown-haired girl got up as tears filled her eyes. She trembled fearfully and almost fell back down. "I-I was-I was b-born by an evil person," Jesse whispered as she fell down on her knees, tears streaming down her cheeks. I knew this girl wasn't normal. Unlike most people, she had pale gray, almost white eyes instead of brown, green, blue or hazel eyes. She had blue blood instead of red blood. Confused, I reluctantly walked back inside. But as I did, I looked out the window to see Jesse getting kidnapped. I started to panic, until suddenly all I could see was darkness.
