Averi's P.O.V

We gathered up all of the photos and videos that were in the room, planning on burning them when we got back to the tower, or when I got back to the tower. He wouldn't be coming with me, the Titans would most likely eat him alive.

I was in a better mood since I was able to see my friends, but I still couldn't help but feel some kind of void in my heart. I may have seen them, but it just wasn't the same as being able to talk to them. I wanted to show them everything I've seen, tell them how well it was going on Earth. I'll get the chance at some point, I just had to be patient.

It still took forever to actually get started with the work as X had to forcefully drag me away from the screens when I refused to leave their side. I wonder if Robin would let me hang a few of these in my room, they surely wouldn't be of use to anyone else.

I was bringing the last stack of pictures, daydreaming about the time when I would actually be able to interact with my friends, what I would do and say, all that I would tell them about, but then I was snapped back to reality when I heard his voice from behind me. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember hearing a thank you."

I set down the files and turn around on my heels to see X leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. It just made me more annoyed. "And why should I be thanking you?"

"Because I saved your ass back there!" He laughed. "You would still be in that bubble if it wasn't for me."

"And Slade would have snapped your neck if I hadn't done anything!" A smirk spread across my face. "Besides, everything was under control. If he had done one more thing, I would have socked him right in the kisser, and then..."

"And then he would have electrocuted you until you were as crisp as a piece of bacon." He leans up from the wall and begins walking closer. "Now I'm pretty sure it was you who said you wanted the right to say I told you so, but it looks as if the honor is bestowed on me."

I cock an eyebrow. "Are you wanting me to admit I was wrong about Slade, because I'm not doing that. If I did then I could no longer call myself a Werewolf."

"I would expect nothing less from you, Princess." He said in his jeering tone. "All you have to do is say, I'm sorry."

A low growl comes from my throat as I just roll my eyes. "Explain to me why I have to say it! If it wasn't for my sudden burst of energy, you'd be dead!" His eyes narrowed playfully when he realized I was right. "Face it X Man, your not the only hero in this room."

He scoffs. "For your information, Princess, I was the one who warned you about Slade before you heard about the mission in the first place." His tone just made me more and more annoyed. "Argue all you want, it still sounds like I'm the better man."

I just cooked an eye brow. "You can pester me my whole life, I still got my dignity to look after."

I turn to set down some pictures in my hand, but when I turn back around he had disappeared from where he was standing before. I got genuinely freaked out, but that was until I made a sharp turn on my heels and ended up ramming nose first into his chest. Sneaky bastard.

I look up to see him staring down into my eyes. "X marks the spot." He said as I shot him a glare.

Surprisingly, I didn't move away. "You just won't stop, will you X Man?"

He lets out a low chuckle, not in a creepy way, but an actually really hot way. "What have I got to lose?"

"Your eyes if you keep this up." I threatened jokingly. "You can do whatever you want, I'm not saying sorry."
