As adults we tend to run away from things we can't understand or things we don't want to listen to. Such as children tend to cover there ears and sing keys on a piano when they don't want to listen or understand something. So what's the difference between adults and small children? Nothing. Adults just act "mature". If every adult started covering their ears and started singing it would be a strange world. I guess running away is quieter, shameless but sometimes the most painful.

At the time I didn't understand that, you see I was just a small girl in a big but ironically small world and running away seemed like the only solution. I know now that it isn't. I'm not gonna say I was naive, or young and reckless, I knew exactly what I was doing. Why I was doing it was the question. I was maybe to wrapped up in my feelings, or wrapped in teenage rage, insecurity, and scared of failure. Even though the journey was amazing, it changed who I am, changed how I think. Who would come to think a flick of a thumb would set up your next destination.

This "roadtrip" was based by a chain of events which later will all makes sense. Everyone has issues some are greater than the other but the worst ones are faked with a smile and simple laugh. Although this story isn't just about me or my issues but my two soon to be best friends and their issues. We were a weird bunch, barely acquaintances. How did we end up going through a whole summer together of random cars, that is later to be answered. Even if I had the chance to change anything taking these girls was is the last thing I would change.

We weren't some bratting teens running away, we were some dramatic teens with actual problems. Even for them the road was life changing. We had to learn how to love ourselves and love each other, and learn that forgiveness is the finale form of love. We all had some forgiving to do, and then looking at it we were some brat teens running away, well two of us.

So our story is basically about three unforgiving, brat teens, asking for rides with only fifty dollars to our names, and stories that fill our hearts. Hitch hiking they said, it'll be fun.
