New annoyances

Jean abruptly stopped smiling completely and turned towards the sniggering.
"What the hell are you two so giggly about?!" Jean scowled in annoyance, he wouldn't have been so mad but he hated being laughed at.
Eren stopped laughing and looked as if he was ready to fight Jean right there at the school entrance while Connie's laughter just got louder.
"Don't worry we weren't laughing at you just what some girls were saying about you." Connie managed to say in one big breath before going back to giggling, as soon as the sentence was finished Eren seemed to remember and also burst out laughing, God was Jean getting annoyed at this.
"Well? What did they say?" Jean was getting angrier by the second. Eren stopped laughing and took a moment to calm himself before telling Jean with a straight face:
"They totally ship you and the freckled dude, like they hardcore believe." Eren attempted to keep his face emotionless but with Connie's hooting in the background he couldn't help but start laughing again. Jean felt his face go red and suddenly turned around and resumed walking to class getting odd states from Eren and Connie who were expecting a violent retort. They ran to catch up with him and they all headed towards the Chemistry building where they had there first class suddenly terrified that they hadn't done the homework and satan was the teacher and would show no mercy to them if they didn't have it finished.
