Jean opened his eyes to a sight that had grown familiar over the past years.
The image of a freckled face relaxed in sleep, hair tousled and smiling slightly at whatever he dreamed of.
Jean almost couldn't believe he had managed to snatch such a good catch just by happenstance, there had to have been a higher power involved.
But waking up to an angel, and the momentary thought of 'maybe I've died and gone to heaven' is the least of his problems.
Jean only wakes up before Marco on weekends.
Today is most certainly not a weekend.
Which means the alarm hadn't gone off.
Last nights events rolled through Jeans brain and he blushed at the memory, suddenly realizing they had been slightly too... preoccupied to set the alarms.
Jean jumped upright and shook Marco awake while grabbing blindly for his phone to check the time.
9:00.
Crap.
Marco rubbed his eyes and sat up, causing Jean to briefly look up and down his freckled chest, taking notice of his handy work from last night, he smirked before the situations at hand came back to him and he rushed into action, dragging Marco along with him.
"We're gonna be late to graduation!"
The statement knocked Marco out of his sleepy grumbling sand his face paled as they went into overtime and ran out the door running towards the school.
When they finally arrived they jogged to their place in line behind their friends and caught their breath as they, along with the rest of the students, marched towards the chairs in the middle of the stadium.
"Someone celebrated a little too hard last night." Commented Erin with a sly grin.
"Shut it Ass face, You smell at least six times worse than I do. Who knows what you got up to wi-"
"Ahhhhhh stop right there! I don't want to know!" Armin whisper yelled from his chair in front of them "The ceremony is starting so you all need to pipe down."
"He's right ya know. Hush." Marco added, playfully jabbing Jean in the side before shushing them motherly as the Principle began his speech.
Jean turned to Marco and smiled.
Things would turn out good for them.
Marco looked at him from the corner of his eye and grinned like the sun.
"Thanks for sitting by me."
"Thank for moving next door."
