Jean woke up to the sound of a pipe bursting. Of course at the time he didn't know it was a pipe bursting and immediately thought it was a break in.

He had just gotten home from the convenience store, running through the pouring rain. The door at his apartment had been especially hard to open that day. He stormed into his apartment already soaking wet and changed out of his clothes putting away the stuff he bought from the store. Once everything was put away he slumped into bed falling asleep pretty easily.
That's when it happened, only thirty minutes into his slumber, a loud bang was heard then the dripping of water.
"JESUS FRECKLED CHRIST!" Jean screamed.
He jumped out of bed and grabbed the lamp placed beside his bed. He looked around and saw no intruders but instead water dripping in from practically everywhere. A moment of standing and he heard a pounding on the wall next to him, then Marcos muffled voice
"You good?"
Jean sighed and simply allowed his head to bang against the wall as a reply. He listened through the wall at the shuffling that seemed to be coming from Marcos room. What's he doing in there? Jean thought as he stared at the layer of water now covering the ground of his apartment. He heard a knock at the door and went to open it to find a wild Marco standing at his door.
"You good?" Marco looked past him and made a small 'oh' face
"Better go call the landlady?" He said after a second
Jean groaned and without thinking laid his head on Marcos shoulder, God was he tired.
Marco just laughed and pulled him to the landlords room. Jean noticed the arm around his shoulder and the fact that his head was rested against Marcos shoulder/neck area and for some reason his heart picked up speed. When they reached the door Marco knocked until the landlady popped out.
"A pipe broke." Was all Jean managed to say causing Marco to laugh which was pretty great and Jean would have taken more time to admire it had he not been slightly damp and exhausted. The landlady called a repair man who said it would probably take about a week to fix which caused Jean to groan and bury his head farther into Marco.
"Wanna stay at my place?" Marco suggested innocently.
Jean only nodded slightly and was draped back up the stairs to Marcos room, not fully registering what was happening. Marco flopped him into the couch and Jean growled at the loss of warmth crawling into a blanket that had been set there previously.
"Thank god we don't have school tomorrow" was the last thing Jean heard before he was out cold.
