"Honey, who are you talking to?" the girl's mother came over and asked her.
"Mom! It's Mariska Hargitay," the young girl expressed as she smiled. The older woman gave the teen a confused look.
"Who?" the woman asked the teen.
"Olivia Benson from SVU!" the girl shouted in anger and excitement.
"No way! My daughter's completely in love with you and Chris! I don't know much about you guys except that you both play in SVU as Olivia and Elliot," the woman told Mariska.
"I'm glad. I love all my fans...and so does Chris," Mariska said with a smile.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm Alice and this is my daughter Alexis," Alice said as she introduced herself and her daughter.
"Well, I go by Lexie," the teen said as she was still in all excitement about being in front of the person she loved so much.
"Nice to meet you, Lexie," Mariska said as she flashed a smile.
"You too. I still can't believe I'm standing here right now," Lexie said to her mom, although she didn't know that.
"Me neither... trust me," Mariska whispered the last part under her breath. The two men in the family came over when they noticed the two women talking to someone.
"Oh... um, this is my dad, Bryce and my little brother, Jack," Lexie exclaimed to Mariska.
"Nice to meet you guys," Mariska said to the two males. They just smiled and gave her a simple 'you too'.
"Can we take a picture together?" Lexie asks in all excitement.
"Of course, honey," Mariska replies.
Alice takes a full body picture for them. Lexie and Mariska examine it to make sure they both look good. Then, they laughed. The two girls laughed the same, beautiful laugh.
"We look so much alike... we laugh the same... I have your hair and skin complexion," Lexie says to Mariska. Mariska just stood there and thought... they did. This girl was a miniature Mariska Hargitay.
"We do..." Mariska said back to the girl.
"I look nothing like my parents and I don't know why."
"You may have gotten a distant gene from your family members," Mariska lied. She was highly sure that this girl that stood in front of her was her daughter.
"I don't know... maybe. I've tried to convince them that I'm adopted,
but they say the exact same thing you just said. I'm convinced I'm adopted... but I guess you're all right," Lexie says to Mariska."Honey, your parents love you whether you look like them or not."
"Yeah, but my brother... Jack... he looks so much like my parents and I'm the odd one."
"Well, I'm not doing anything for the rest of the day. Wanna go somewhere and talk?"
"Could we?" Lexie asked as she looked down. Mariska put her hand on the teen's shoulder.
"Of course we can... if it's okay with your parents."
"I'll go ask them," she said as the two walked off smiling.
The girl's parents didn't mind. Mariska said she would bring the teen home later that night.
The two were almost silent in the car, but they were both happy. Mariska looked over and Lexie was setting her phone's wallpaper to the picture of her and Mariska. Mariska smiled extremely big.
