I woke up the morning of Payback and started getting ready for my doctors appointment. I was almost three months pregnant and we had check ups once a month to check on how the baby is doing and growing. I was always excited for these appointments because I got to hear my baby's heartbeat and see my baby on the monitor. I loved it.
Randy walked out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel. "Good morning babe." he said.
I looked at him and smiled. "Good morning." I said. I walked up and kissed him before walking in the bathroom and taking a shower. I took my shirt off and looked in the mirror. I had a little baby bump and I put my hands on it smiling. "Mommy can't wait to see you little one." I said.

PAYBACK
Randy and I arrived at the arena for Payback. Our appointment went great. Baby Orton was growing just like he/she was supposed to and we got to listen to the baby's heartbeat again. I just loved it and by the look on Randy's face I knew he was just as excited and happy about this as I was.
I sat on the couch watching the start of Payback while Randy was getting dressed into his gear. I wasn't going out there anymore and it was gonna suck but I wanted to make sure I wasn't getting hurt.
Most matches that went by were really boring. Randy watched them with me until he had to leave for the main event. He stood up and I looked at him. "Randy." I said.
"Yeah?" he asked turning to face me.
"Be careful out there, please." I said.
He walked over to me and pulled me in his arms. "I will. I promise. I love you."
"I love you too."
"I'll be back." he said. He walked out and I sat back down.
The fatal four way match was next and I was sitting on the edge of my seat. Randy's music hit and he walked out and got in the ring. He was the first one out there. Dean was the second one then Roman and finally Seth.
The bell rang and Randy, Dean and Roman turned their attention to Seth. He was backed in the corner. J&J dragged Roman and Dean out of the ring and Seth pounced on Randy knocking him out of the ring. Seth went for a suicide dive but Randy caught him with a right hand. Dean got back in the ring and knocked Seth out off the ring right by Randy. He went for a suicide dive hitting both Randy and Seth. Roman then got in the ring and leaped over the top rope on top of everyone. Roman went after Seth and hit him with a right upper hand. He rolled Seth in the ring and went for a Samoan drop but Seth got out of it. He went against the ropes springing back at Roman only to picked up and dropped. Roman went for the pin but Seth kicked out at one. Roman had the upper hand for a while until Seth rammed Roman's head into the turnbuckle. Dean got on the top rope and hit Seth with a flying elbow. He went for the pin but Randy broke it up. Randy went after Dean and had the upper hand but Dean turned it around on Randy and hit him with a running bulldog. Randy hit Dean with a back breaker and went for the pin but Roman broke it up this time. Randy went for the RKO but Roman pushed him out of it. Dean was back up and knocked Randy out of the ring going over and out at the same time. Seth went after Roman. It went from one in control to the other through half the match. Randy had Seth outside the ring and was clearing the announce table. Seth started beating up on Randy and Dean joined in as well as Roman. Oh no. Randy was surrounded by Roman, Seth and Dean. They started beating up on him Shield style and I was getting worried. The one thing Roman promised me wouldn't happen and it did. They got him up for the triple power bomb and got it slamming Randy through the table. I gasped.
Seth was trying to celebrate and do the symbol for the Shield and for a minute Dean and Roman had Seth going but then turned on him and started beating the crap out of him. Kane got involved and they took out both Kane and Seth. Seth laid down on the other announce table and Roman and Dean double power bombed Kane onto Seth. The table didn't break though. The crowd started chanting for them to do it one more time. They picked Kane up and, again, power bombed him onto Seth and this time the table did break. Roman and Dean were left standing. "Not much else to do." Roman said.
"No there's not." Dean agreed.
"Loser buys beers?" Roman asked.
They got into the ring and started fighting. Roman went for the pin and Dean kicked out. They fought a little more and then Dean went for the pin and Roman kicked out. Roman hit Dean with a superman punch and went for the pin but Dean kicked out. Roman went for a spear but Dean countered and went for Dirty Deeds and Roman got out of it. He hit Dean with a spear and went for the pin but Seth broke it up. Roman was pissed because, once again, Seth screwed him out of the title. Roman went after Seth but J&J got to him. He got them out of the way and went after Seth again. Seth got back in the ring only to be hit by Dean. Randy still hadn't gotten up. I was really worried.
Seth kicked Dean in the head and then got hit by a superman punch from Roman. Roman got clothes lined by Dean. Dean hit Seth with Dirty Deeds and went for the pin but got pulled out of the ring by Kane. Kane hit Dean with the steel steps and then Roman. He choke slammed Roman on the steel steps and then Randy pushed Kane into the ring post. Randy started getting back in the ring and Seth grabbed him setting him up for the DDT off the second rope. He got off the rope and lifted Seth launching him out to the apron. He set Seth up for the DDT but Joey Mercury got Seth down. Jamie turned Randy around only to be hit with an RKO by Randy. Joey went after Randy and got hit with an RKO as well. Seth jumped off the top rope but Randy caught him and hit him with a power slam. Randy got Seth on the second rope and hit him with the DDT. Randy went for the RKO on Seth but got pushed into Kane and delivered an RKO to him. Seth kicked Randy in the gut and hit him with a pedigree. He pinned Randy taking the win. I closed my eyes and put my head down. Of course Seth would win. Of course the Authority would be involved. When weren't they.
I got up and walked out of the locker room going down to the ring. I got in and knelt down by Randy. "Are you alright?" I asked him.
"Yeah. What are you doing down here?" he asked.
"Don't worry. I just came down here." I told him.
"I'm gonna kill that son of a bitch." he said.
"I know you will. He's crossed the line too many times. He needs to be taught a lesson." I said.
"Come on. Let's go." he said.
"Hang on." I got out of the ring and walked over to Dean. "Dean, are you okay?"
"Yeah. I'm good." he said.
I nodded and walked over to Roman who was sitting on the steel steps. "Hey. Are you okay?" I asked him.
He looked at me and I could see it in his face. He really wanted to championship. He wanted it more than anything. He shook his head.
"It's okay. You'll get him eventually. I know you will." I told him.
"I don't know Katie. At this point the odds are always against whoever goes after him and it just doesn't seem worth it anymore."
"Hey. Knock it off. That is not an option. Giving up is not an option and it will never be as long as I'm around. You were so close Roman. So close." I said.
"And then it was ripped away from me by him again." he said.
"And you will get your revenge. I promise you. But for now, you need to go get cleaned up and then come hang out with us."
"Okay." he said.
I got up and walked with Randy to the locker room. He took a shower and then got dressed before we went back to the hotel. We hung out with Roman and Dean until they were tired enough to go back to their own hotel rooms.
Randy and I went to bed with his hand on my stomach. It felt nice. My little Orton family.
