I woke up in the morning and we were doing another challenge for the competitors. The coaches and I went out to a swamp and the competitors arrived soon after. They were told to go across the swamp, grab an NXT title and bring it back where they started. Dianna finished first before everybody and Tanner was the first for the guys. ZZ was not last this time and I was happy about that.
We congratulated them and then I looked at Darria. "That finishes that challenge. The only problem I have is why you came back without a title. Did you get a title off the boat?" I asked. She nodded. "Why is not around your waist? So, if you win this, and I put a championship on you, know that you will carry it every single day. But now, you don't have one and it's at the bottom of the lake somewhere right? Everybody else seemed to find a way to carry their stuff except for you. That's all I'm gonna say."
She started crying but I didn't really care. These people needed to learn they have to have trust, respect, responsibility in order for them to be here and go to the WWE.
We all went back to the building. The coaches and I slept it up while Roman was on his way there to talk to the competitors. I was glad to have Roman coming.
In the morning we got up and I walked outside to see Roman getting out of his car. "Roman!" I yelled. I walked up and hugged him which he gladly returned.
"Hey mama Orton. How's everything going here?" he asked.
"Good. Some of the competitors are so annoying and they have no idea what they're doing or what we're asking of them. It's frustrating but I'm trying my best to whip them into shape." I said.
"I'm sure you are." he said.
"How's Randy?" I asked.
"He's good. He misses you though. Have you talked to him since you've been here?"
"Yeah. I call him every night. I hate being away from him but this is actually pretty fun."
"I'm sure. Are you ready to do this?" he asked.
"Yeah. Billy's getting them up right now so I'm gonna go with you to the ring." I said.
"Awesome. Let's go."
We got in the ring and got all set up. The competitors walked in. The girls were oogling over Roman and I could see it. He was a handsome man. Mine was better but he was still handsome and married.
"What's up everybody?" Roman asked. I was standing in the corner. "Well, if you don't know by now, I'm WWE Superstar, Roman Reigns. This stuff hurts. Are you willing to be picked up over somebody's head and slammed on your back for the entertainment of the WWE Universe?"
"I don't think any of you are ready for a superman punch or a spear." I added.
"I don't wanna ruin this competition or put anybody out for the remainder of it, so what I'm gonna do is ask my good friend from the NXT roster Bull Dempsey to get his big butt in here and he's gonna show you his finisher and if you have the courage to take that finish then you may just have what it takes to be a WWE Superstar." Roman said. Bull Dempsey got in the ring along with another guy. Bull got on the top rope while the other guy laid down. "Lay it on him Bull."
Bull jumped off the top rope and landed on the guy's chest with his ass. I winced. That finisher was very intense.
"That's 320 pounds coming off the top rope. This guy can't breathe right now." I said.
"You're stepping in this ring, it's a real as it gets. This isn't ballet. I wish the best of luck to each and every one of you. I hope you're tough enough. Billy and Katie are gonna take you to your next challenge of courage. Good luck guys." Roman said. He turned around and gave me a hug. "I'll call you later mama Orton."
"Thanks Roman." I said.
He got out of the ring and Billy got in. We talked about back bumps and the competitors did them each one by one. Some of them did great but some were just kind of scared to do it. Patrick did the best out of everyone followed by Tanner and then Josh.
We told them to get on a platform on the top rope and do a back bump off of it. Dianna completely failed and it pissed me off.
Once we were done with the challenge the competitors went to elimination. Alex got eliminated.
