Leia was trying to focus on what's her master saying, but it was almost as impossible as lifting rocks by using the Force. She began her training a month ago and was already making a progress, but it wasn't as easy as she persumed.
"Leia? Are you listening?" Luke asked. Something about his sister was different. He didn't know if it was the fact that Darth Vader was her father or something else.
"Umm yeah," Leia said and sent her thoughts away. At least she tried. She didn't feel like herself. What was causing her sudden change of emotions? Was it the fact that she never knew her real parents? Was it this sudden change of lifestyle? This whole Jedi thing? Or was it that Han wasn't here? She didn't know.
"Focus, my padawan. The Force. Today's lesson will be the Force ghosts. When you're a Force sensitive person, you can talk to another Force sensitive person, even after their death. Of course it's not you who chooses the time, but them," Luke said and sat beside Leia in the grass. They were in the forests of Endor, thirty minutes away from the Ewok village they were staying in. Luke wanted to train somewhere where they couldn't be distracted by presence of others. The trees around them started to turn all shades of red, orange and brown as the autumn was coming. It was colder as the sun was setting down, so Luke pulled his knees up to his chest.
"Really?" Leia asked. Her brother nodded.
"I've had my experience," he said and looked at Leia. Her skin was way more pale than it should.
"Have you...talked to father like that?" Was he? Did he get the chance to know their parents?
"No. I've only talked to Obi Wan. But I've seen our father and Master Yoda." Leia remembered the lesson about all Jedi masters Luke knew, starting with Obi-Wan and ending up with Yoda. He really knew only these two.
"Leia, listen. Enough for today, let's get to home," Luke said and stood up, followed by his sister. They were slowly making they way towards the village, each one drown deep in own thoughts. As they reached their huts, they were welcomed by Ewoks offering the food. Leia politely declined and walked away to her hut, leaving Luke staring. Something was definitely wrong with his padawan.
They could have separate huts now, when the Rebellion fighters returned to their families and friends. Han and Chewbacca flew away to finish their deals and trades, promising they'll be back as soon as possible. Leia chose the hut she was sharing with Han the other day. The day when they brought down the Empire. The day when she learned the truth.

It was night when Leia woke up, finding out she can't sleep any longer. She looked out of the window and saw the stars shining. 'Han's somewhere out there,' she thought and smiled at the thought of her other half piloting the Falcon. "You chose a good one," a voice said and Leia quickly sat up, grabbing a blaster from under her bed. She didn't have a lightsaber yet, so the blaster was a great another option. "Who are you?" With a shaky voice she asked and searched the room. She saw no one. From nowhere a guy with blue glare around him came and Leia aimed the blaster at him. "I am Anakin Skywalker...your father," the man said and she put the weapon down. A Force ghost Luke was talking about just visited her. And it was their father. "So that's where we've got the hair from," Leia muttered under her breath and Anakin chuckled. "You are as beautiful as your mother," he said and these words hit Leia hard. She was in the room with her real father, a person her mother once loved. "I know what's different about you, my dear child," Anakin said and Leia looked him in the eyes. Was he telling the truth? They shared a long gaze, both knowing it won't make up the time they didn't spend together, those father-daughter they could have. "I was a horrible parent, but you'll make a great one. You're pregnant," Anakin said and his ghost faded away, leaving Leia speechless.
