Jungkook shut his locker quickly as he heard the bell ring. He hugged his books tightly to his chest and speed walked to his classroom. He made it just before the tardy bell and he sighed in relief. He sat in his seat in the back of the class as the teacher started writing their lesson on the board. He kept his eyes and ears on the teacher throughout the lesson. He felt a tap on his shoulder in the middle of class and turned around to meet eyes with Kim Taehyung. "Do you have any gum?"

Jungkook blinked and reached into his pocket. He pulled out a minty flavored gum and handed it to the boy. "Here you go." He turned around and copied what the teacher had written on the board and felt another tap on his shoulder. He turned around again and looked at the smiling boy. "Can I have another piece for later?" He said while chewing the gum with a smirk. Jungkook sighed and gave him another piece. "There, now can you please not interrupt me anymore? I'm trying to learn." He narrowed his eyes and turned back around in his seat. Sure enough, he felt another tap on his shoulder. "What??! Here!" He put the pack of gum on Taehyung's desk. "Have them! Take it! Take all of them!" Taehyung chuckled. "I was only going to say that you have really pretty eyes." Jungkook felt himself blush as he heard the statement. He huffed and turned around in his chair as he heard the other boy laugh. He crossed his arms and ignored the hoy for the rest of the period.

The rest of the day passed normally and Jungkook had almost forgotten about what had happened with Taehyung. He approached his locker and put his books back on the little shelf. He grabbed his jacket and put it on as he shut the door. "Hey there." He jumped as he saw Taehyung leaning against the locker. "You almost gave me a heart attack!" He grabbed his chest. "What do you want?" Taehyung chuckled and gave Jungkook the pack if gum. "There was nothing in here anyway." Jungkook grabbed the box and gave Taehyung an exasperated look. "Then why did you give it back?" Taehyung smiled and started walking down the hallway. "Have a nice day Jungkookie~" Jungkook blushed and opened the gum pack. He noticed an empty folded wrapper in the box. He opened it curiously.
