●Arrabella's P.o.v●

"Dad! " I screeched and bolted down the stairs angrily after him. There was no way I was going to Blue Moon pack to offer my help in unpacking.

"You know I have no control over what you're mother says and does, baby girl. I think it'd be good for you to do something productive with your day." He said with a clap of his hands.

"But daaaaaad! I don't wanna go!" I stomped my foot and he groaned.

"Aria, I promise, I'll make it up to you but, please... just this once obey your mother and just go." He saw the withered look I gave him and he swiped a hand down his face. "Please."

"Fine, I'll go, but I won't enjoy it." He smiled his charming smile suddenly looking ten years younger and kissed my forehead.

"Thanks baby girl. Now you better hurry and get dressed before you're mother comes down and gets ready to knock some heads." Rolling my eyes at his true statement I headed back upstairs and put on a blue tank and yoga pants, throwing my hair up in a ponytail I exited while still trying to slip on my second grey Air Jordan.

"I'm glad you're doing this Arrabella."

"Yeah, mom."

"No, I'm really glad Arrabella." She gripped my arm and I nodded.

"It's whatever. I'm just helping unpack a few boxes. Just tell them I'm on my way and to be ready or I'm not helping." She nodded frantically and took out her phone and dialing faster than Sonic.

"Dad! I'm using Ryan's car! Tell him when he gets back!" I said and grabbed the keys with the stupid beer opener on it and trekked to their house.

"Why hello, dear. My name is Anne and I'm the Alpha female of this pack."

"Hi." Giving her a little wave she grinned.

"Well you're mother said you wanted to help unpack?" More like forced to.

"Yeah." Giving a cute smile I nodded which made her clap gleefully.

"Great! Feels like my entire pack is a bunch of lazy babies. 'Alpha I don't wanna...' 'Alpha do we have to...' Jeesh I nearly screamed yesterday."

"I can only imagine." Sure I wanted to run and be free as a rogue but I never really thought about how it would feel to be put in Ryan's place. Having all that stress of everyone soon be depending on him. Needing him to make the right choices for the pack and putting them first in front of his future mate, himself.

"Being an Alpha is good too! I promise, sure there's a lot to improve on and work towards but being an Alpha can be comforting. You have the whole pack there to hold you up when you fall." Nodding I tried to listen, I really did but I just wanted to get out of here and go out to brunch with Bree. "Oh! I'm sorry, I'm probably boring your pretty little head half to death. Last door on your left, top floor, my son's room. He said he unpacked but I know he just shoved it all in his closet. You can start there while I finish the kitchen."

"Okay, I'll go and get started then..." Awkwardness laced through my tone she nodded and smiled.

"Alright sweetheart, I'll call you down for lunch in a few hours." Realizing that meant I had to cancel my plans with Bree I nodded almost solemnly and trudged up to my 'mate's' room.

"What do you mean you can't come? I haven't seen you in almost a week! That's criminal!"

"I know Bree but I'm trapped."
