Chapter 5
Clara and Jace were able to leave the nurse's office after Clara got bandages on her wrist. Clara said thank you to the nurse and walked out of the office. Jace quickly followed Clara and walked right next to Clara. They came up to the corner of the hallway and turned to go to their class. As they did this Jace slowly moved his hand to hold Clara's. He grabbed her hand. She looked at him then saw he was holding her hand. Jace locked his eyes to her eyes. They stopped in the middle of the hallway.
"Clara I'm sorry I had stopped talking to you. I realized today when you fell I should have never stopped. Do you forgive me?" Said Jace still holding Clara's hand.
"Jace I forgive you and thank you for saying your sorry." Clara said blushing at the fact that Jace was still holding her hand. Clara just continued walking while they still held hands.
*Jace's POV*
When we got done with the nurse we walked out and started heading back to class. Clara's good hand was swinging while she walked. I really wanted to hold her hand. As we got to the corner of the hallway I grabbed her hand slowly. She turned around when she realized I was holding her hand. Then she blushed. I kept looking it her gorgeous emerald green eyes. I told her that I was sorry for not talking to her. She said she forgave me and we kept walking towards the classroom still holding hands!
(Back to regular point of view).
They got to the class room and walked in, Clara walking back to her seat and Jace walking to his seat. The bell rang less than ten minutes after Jace and Clara got back. Faith and Jessie were going crazy at the fact Clara was with Jace! Clara went to her locker, Faith and Jessie followed.
