Chapter 6
Jessie and Faith were at Clara's locker jumping up and down. Clara gave them a look. "So how did it go!!!" Faith was practicly screaming at Clara. "Yeah how'd it go!" Jessie said laughing at Faith.
"It was really awkward. But then when we left the office we walk to a corner and he grabbed my hand." Faith smiled real big and said"Awe he held your hand!"
"Faith shush!" Clara said continuing her story, "So anyways as I was saying. He held my hand and locked his eyes with mine. Then he said he was sorry that he hadn't talked to me in while. Also we kept holding hands until we got to the classroom!"
"Oh my gosh that's awesome!!!" Jessie and Faith said in unison. So they continued to their next class and Clara never saw Jace for the rest of the day until home room.

For Clara home room was in the music hall. Jace was in there too. Clara walked in to the music room and grabbed her flute. When Clara turns around after getting her flute she was startled by Jace coming up behind her.
"Hey can you come to me after home room? I need to ask you something. Just meet me in the main hallway. If that's ok with you?" Jace said look down at the ground but smiling.
"Yeah that's ok with me!" Said Clara blushing.
Home room had only 5 minutes until the final bell of the day would ring. Clara was nervous about going and talking to Jace. In her head she kept wandering what he was going to say.
The bell rang and ran to the door. Jace was already out the door and waiting for Clara. Clara walked up to him with butterflies in her stomach and said, "What did you want to ask me?"
