For the past 188 hours, Aphmau laid unconscious in her hospital bed.
Tick tock tick tock.
The clock rang in Aaron's ears as he stared at her. She was as pale as before, only regaining a small amount of color to her cheeks, showing that she was living.
Aaron didn't care.
He wanted to wrap his arms around her, better, feel his lips against hers.
He loved her, there was no doubt about it. Which is why he felt like an idiot when he didn't think about staying at the house with her.
He stared at her still as a statue, even as a nurse opened the door.
"Sir, visiting hours are over." He groaned and sat up, leaving his beloved Aphmau. The nurse however, grabbed his sleeve. "Erm, if you are feeling sad, maybe I could help cheer you up a bit?" The nurse slightly smiled. Aaron knew what she meant by "cheering up."
Aaron tugged his sleeve away with force. "No thanks. Call me when my girlfriend wakes up." The woman's smile froze. She rushed away down the hallway. Aaron reached inside his pocket, clutching his bandana. He usually didn't wear it, since when he was with Aph, girls automatically knew not to flirt with him because he was taken. Now, he needed to wear it for a while. Hopefully not too long.
He tightened it around his head, then left the building. As he was on the sidewalk, he caught a look at Aphmaus room. He blew a kiss to her, then silently walked home .
