[A/N] I will be reposting last chapter, since it sucked. Bad. So yeah. I am visiting someone, and am able to update while here, since they have internet. Thanks for reading!
They were just walking. All 5 of them, to the Pizzeria. As the friends walked in, the eerie silence was different. It was as if you could cut it with a knife. Aphmau closed the door, worried of what was going to happen. Katelyn and the others darted to the security room, while she was going to investigate. Aphmau had been outside of the office before, so it was not too hard to dodge the animatronics by herself. She had a bluetooth ear piece so she could communicate with her friends.
Aphmau turned on the ear piece.
"So, any activity yet?"
Silence.
"Nope. All clear so far." She heard Katelyn say through the ear piece.
Aphmau continued walking, but something was on her mind.
The Phone Calls.
The recordings hadn't played all week, so far. She was getting worried. She checked her watch that she had recently gotten.
2:36. The animatronics should have moved by then. She gulped down her worries, feeling like they had gotten stuck in her windpipe. Aphmau walked on stage. The lights shone down on her, like spirits dangling on a cieling, being kept up by rope or chain. She took a deep breath. Her vision turned to one certain purple animatronic on stage.
Andy, or as many children know, Bonnie. She slowly walked over, stopping in front of the animatronic. She glanced into his lifeless eyes, still not believing that her brother resided somewhere inside.
She remembered the week of torment for her sister, and the worry that she herself had gone through.
(Italics are flashbacks, and they are in Aphmau's POV)
Day 1: Monday
Claire wouldn't come out of her room. I stayed by her door, in case she went out. I left food outside her door, and whenever I was awake, it was untouched. When I took a nap, and woke up, the plate would be empty. I was happy that she was eating, but I worried why she didn't want to see or speak to me. I brought a blanket to stay next to me, but it was hard to sleep, hearing her soft sobs echo through the household, during the silence of night.
Aphmau sighed, continuing to walk through the empty hallways. It was beggining to get to her nerves.
"Hanging in there Aphmau?" Aaron asked. Aphmau gulped before resonding.
"Yup... just a little... off."
Day 2: Tuesday
I decided to try to get Claire to come out by offering her favorite foods. One of which, was my favorite as well.
"Claaiiire. If you don't come out, I will eat all these 10 chocolate covered strawberries!"
The door didn't budge.
"I will eat this peanut butter fudge!"
"I will... I will..." I gave up and leaned against the door. "Sit here and wait for you to come out..."
Aphmau continued walking. The memories were flashing so clearly in her mind, there was nothing else she could pay attention to. It was as if she was stuck in a trance.
Day 3: Wednesday
I decided to try to get Claire to come out with song.
"DO YOU WANNA BUILD A SNOWMAN? COME ON, LET'S GO AND PLAY! I NEVER SEE YOU ANYMORE, COME OUT THE DOOR, IT'S LIKE YOU'VE GONE AWAAAAAY!" Then she threw a book at me.
I groaned. She locked the door again. I sighed and pushed against it.
"HELLO FROM THE OTHER SIIIIIIIIDE. I MUST HAVE CALLED A THOUSAND TIIIIIIIMES. TO TELL YOU, I'M SORRY, FOR EVERYTHING THAT I'VE DONE, BUT WHEN I CALL YOU, NEVER, SEEM TO BE HOOME." She threw another book at me.
Aphmau wasn't even paying attention to where she was going at this point. She couldn't hear her friends speaking to her, couldn't hear them ask her questions, she had no idea where she was walking either.
Day 4: Thursday
"Claire?" I asked, for the 305th time. I could hear breathing behind the door, the only sign that she was alive. "Please... come out... I'm worried.... I need you to come out... for me.... please... Andy wouldn't want you to stay in there..."
"YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT HE WOULD WANT!!!!!" I jumped from the door, surprised by the sudden outburst from the other side. I could hear her sobs grow louder. It was as if I had broken her all over again.
Aphmau's eyes turned glossy as she walked up the stairs, ignoring the screams of her friends through the ear piece.
Day 5: Friday
Claire had gone somewhere. I know, because her car was gone. I sighed and walked in her bedroom, I decided to hide under her bed for a while.
Claire finally came home after a while. I had parked my car a few streets down, hoping she thought I was gone. Luckily, she did think that. She pulled something out of her purse and walked into her closet. Me being curious followed her. I nearly fainted from the sight. She had a noose around her neck, and a chair under her. Right as she was about to kick the chair away. I ran in and held her.
"CLAIRE! DON'T YOU DARE!" I quickly untied the noose before she could do anything.
"WHY!? I JUST WANT TO BE WITH HIM!" I took her by the shoulders and shook her.
"CLAIRE! DON'T END YOUR LIFE! HE WOULDN'T WANT THAT! I DON'T WANT THAT!" Her eyes filled with tears and she collapsed into my arms, sobbing into my chest.
"I-I just want him back...." She sobbed into my chest. I held her, and rocked her back and forth. Tears were falling down my face at the time too.
"Me too sis... me too."
Aphmau began to fall, then someone grabbed onto her shirt and shook her by the shoulders.
"APHMAU! APHMAU!" Aphmau regained semi-consciousness and looked around. She was on the roof. She was about to fall, before Katelyn grabbed her.
"Wh-what happened!? How did Ii get up here!? I-I..." Aphmau began to fall, and darkness invaded her vision.
