After Aphmau left the hospital, she had no recollection of the past weeks. So, she was curious as to why the Pizzeria burned down. Everyone just told her that there had been a gas leak. She had just agreed with it.
The Pizzeria still paid her however. Which is strange.
The animatronics were scrapped, and thrown away.
However, them burning in the incident, caused their souls to be able to slip through the suits. They were in short, free.
Aphmau had known this, for she had a strange feeling that she herself had completed her life goals.
She was happy. But she felt like there was something she was forgetting.
~~~
Indeed there was. The Marionette herself also burned in the fire.
The strange puppet woman walked through the Lost Woods, when she felt a small tap on her shoulders. She turned and gasped, to see a small girl. It was Mari.
The woman collapsed to her knees, scooping the child up in her arms. Her eyes were a calm violet, her hair purely black now. Her small black dress didn't have buttons anymore, nor the stripped sleeves. She was herself. The woman's tears fells down her cheeks as she cradled the child. She looked towards the sky.
"Thank you Aphmau...
For keeping your promise."
