Night 5: Who Was Injured?

[A/N] Did you guys really think I would leave you off like that?

As the friends followed the trail, there was a plan being made in the shadows.

"It's time I take my leave. You protect yourself. And take care of the girl."

"Yes Father."

The friends heard nothing of this conversation. They were preoccupied with finding Aphmau. However, they climbed up the steps of the stage. Instead of Aphmau, however, they found Bonnie. They had never seen it look so human. Katelyn remembered something Aphmau said.

"HE PUT ANDY'S SOUL INSIDE ONE OF THE ANIMATRONICS! THEY WILL HURT HIM IF I DON'T HELP HIM!"

"Andy?" Katelyn asked. The scratch of gears was heard, before the head of the animatronic was visible. One of the eyes were gone, replaced by wires. Wires were coming out from the side of the animatronics head, while it's left hand was replaced by wires. In short, the animatronic seemed broken. "Andy? What happened?" Katelyn sat her gun down next to her, while she kneeled down to inspect the poor thing.

"Sissy... I-in box. S-stuck. Needs... h-h-help. I-I tried... t-to help... g-got p-p-punished." He grabbed the collar of Katelyn's shirt, causing her hand to go to her gun. Her hand eased as he began reading off letters. "H-E-L-P  S-I-S-S-Y." His hand drooped. Katelyn then noticed blood was seeping out of his arm, dripping off the wires. Same for the eyes, as if he was crying. Katelyn was slightly relieved that the blood trail wasn't Aphmau's. Hopefully.

"Stay with him." Katelyn got her gun ready. "I'll get Aphmau."

Katelyn was still creeped out by the darkness of the hallways, thinking someone was watching. Little to her knowledge, someone really was. The new heir turned her violet eyes to Katelyn, studying her for later.

Katelyn soon came to the Kid's Corner. Soon her eyes landed on what she needed to find. The Gift Box. She tried pulling on the lid. It wouldn't budge. She couldn't waste bullets. There had to be a way. The Heir decided to watch to see if Katelyn could figure her little puzzle out. Katelyn saw the music box. It was playing. She had been so focused on the Box she forgot about it.

Katelyn slowly walked to the music box, her grip on her Rifle tightening. Slowly, she lifted the eye-piece to her eye level, aimed, and pulled the trigger.

It was slow motion. The bullet glided through the air, the tip going through the thin box. Then, gears and mechanisms were sprawled out on the table and floor, the music ceasing itself. Katelyn heard the clicking of something opened. Quickly, she darted to the box. The lid was as light as paper. Katelyn saw Aphmau's frail, paler body inside, whimpering.

"K-Katelyn?" Aphmau's raspy voice rang out. Katelyn sighed of relief. She hopped in the box and cradled Aphmau in her lap.

"Everything's okay Aphmau... everything's okay..." Katelyn had tears falling down her face. Aphmau appeared uninjured. Quickly, but carefully, she picked her small body up. Katelyn wanted to ask her why she was in her uniform, but she didn't have enough time. She ran back to the stage. Aphmau didn't weight too much, so it wasn't that hard. Garroth, Laurence, and Aaron were still trying to help Andy when they noticed Aphmau.

"APH-"

"Shh...." Aphmau whimpered out. Then she was engulfed in a hug. Everyone heard something clang in the hallway. The 4 friends went to investigate. Aphmau crawled over to where Andy was. She leaned up against the wall, so she could face him.

"What did they do to you?" She asked, once more putting her hand on his cheek.

"M-Mari... forced... I... didn't listen... Wanted... Sissy safe... so hid... but was found... and punished..." Aphmau placed her lips on his forehead.

"I promise.... I will help you Andy. I will free you... somehow..." Katelyn came back into the room.

"Aphmau we have to go." Aphmau held onto Andy.

"Katelyn I'm not leaving him." Katelyn dragged Aphmau away from Andy.

"A-ANDY! ANDY!" Andy stared at his sister as Katelyn took her away. "ANDY! KATELYN PUT ME DOWN! ANDY!"

"It's Okay Sissy...."

Sigh. Sorry it was short! I have been busy with Homework lately and... yeah... P.S, for those who were wondering why things are a bit rushed, this is the last book for the Nightguard Series. I have a whole ending already planned out. Also, please, please, please, please... don't pester me to update. I have been stressed out lately and yeah. Please don't pester me to update.
