chapter 9.

"So Jordan when y'all plan on having me some grandson ? I'm getting old man" my daddy said laughing
"Jordan laughed I don't even know pops I think my soldiers not marching" Jordan chuckled
"Baby your a lucky women to have a good man like Jordan " mama said
if only y'all knew I said in my head ..
Jordan squeezed my thigh since I was taking a while to respond to what my mama had said .

"Yes I am momma as I Looked up at Jordan and put on a faint smile."

After dinner Jordan and I said our good nights then headed to the guest room .

"What was that at dinner?" Jordan said in anger
What do you mean ? I said in fear.
"stop being stupi- you know what ion even feel like fooling with you tonight , sleep on the floor."
"How you gone tell me to sleep on the floor in MY parents house" as I said to him.
Less than a minute later Jordan grabs me by neck and squeezes as hard as he could as I was holding his wrist to get him to stop I felt my eyes get hazy , Lord please don't let this man kill me .. at least not in my parents house.

then he let go .

I was struggling to breathe..
My heart was pounding fast ...
and I just fell out ...

Kandy Kandy wake up I hear my mama say . "what's wrong baby you don't feel to good ? do you need to go to the doctor my mother said? "
"Jordan said y'all were going to bed and you stopped and fell down"
"no mama I struggled to say."
I really wanted to say I needed to get the hell away from his physco ass.
"Well here's a cold glass of water and some Advil take it I think you'll be just fine." Goodnight  Baby I love you momma and dad said.
Jordan tried to help me to the bed but at that point I didn't care i snatched my arm away from him so quick and laid down.

The Next Day..

2:54pm

"Y'all leaving already?." mama said in a sad voice .
Yeah mom I'll come back and visit next month, or how about y'all come visit us?! I said Im excitement.
"Yeah that'll be real nice baby" Jordan said.
Yeah sure I guess me and your father could get a way for a couple of days.
"Yes y'all can" I said .

"Well We're about to get out of here Mr. and Mrs.Sheppard."
Alright my babies be careful.

I wanted to whine like a little child when we started to drive off, I didn't want to go back to this man.. just knowing we're going to be together the rest of our lives horrifies me.

a few days after we Left my parents I just felt sick , throwing up everyday and everything  I ate it didn't stay down .. I think I have food poisoning or something .

I made a doctors appointment and its tomorrow .

The next day..

    Hi Mrs.Smith I'm nurse "Hankins" and I'll be checking to see why you have been feeling sick lately .
    you say you believe you have food poisoning right?
      "yes ma'am "
Well let's run a few test on you first I'll like to take your Blood pressure .
    "Okay "

After Nurse Hankins finished what she was doing she left .

   "Hello Mrs.Smith How are you a Man walked in and asked me I'm Doctor White as he said while reaching out to shake my hand."

I'm Alright I just been a little sick.
   " Okay well we have a few test here , it seems you don't have the food poisoning..... but "

   BUT WHAT DOC? I asked in confusion.
