A/N - I personally have written everything in this book, and own every idea placed in it. This book has been copyrighted ( as you can see right above this A/N ) and I will not tolerate copying, reproducing, or any other thing of that manner.
What is in my book stays in my book and will not be tolerated for anyone to steal my ideas. If there happens to be Any misunderstandings, then you can ask me through the comment section or messaging.
I also will not be responsible for anyone being offended by the content in this book. I made the characters think, do, and say certain things because it is simply what I wanted their personality to be like.
If you don't like a thought, or comment made by a certain character, keep in mind the reality. people in real life say, think and do offensive things all the time, my characters might say that something disgusts them, or that something is stupid, (while you like it ) do not make a big deal, because it is simply what that individual's opinion is. everybody has different opinions, personalities, and morals, so if you feel offended by it, then just read another book.
now that all of that is cleared, thank you for reading, and enjoy 😄

Moonlight Glow chapter 1

"Mom! I'll be fine," I assure her for the thousandth time.

"But your father and I don't trust him, he just can't be good news. I can just sense that something's off about him."
I roll my eyes, forgetting that she can't see me since I'm talking to her over the phone.

"Mom. How many times do I have to explain to you guys that Stefan is not that type of guy?" I groan.

"Alexa VeAra Cruz! He could be a serial killer for all I know. How do you know that you can trust him?"

I sigh dramatically, hoping that she knows how much she's annoying me.

"We've been together for two years now, He's no stranger. You and dad have met him and you know that what you guys say about him isn't true. I know I can trust him, and it's not like I'm living with him; I'm simply staying over here for a couple of nights a week," I reply, trying to reason with her politely, but my clenched jaw makes every word come out strained.

My parents have been bothering me about my boyfriend for the longest time. But particularly my dad has been trying a lot of things to actually break us apart which is why I resorted to staying with my boyfriend a few nights a week. My parents are completely freaking out about this whole arrangement, but it's not like we'll be doing anything dirty.

"Yeah, but Alexa, we don't like the idea of you sleeping around with him- especially at your age. You're only sixteen," She says, and I can tell she's getting angry with me. I sigh heavily.

"Mom, will you just listen to me?"
She remains quiet so I take that as my cue to continue. "Stefan and I aren't going to be sleeping around. I know I'm 16, and yeah, that's pretty young, but like you always tell me, I'm a mature young woman. I can take care of myself. I know you and dad don't like Stefan but there's no reason not to, because he really does love me- and don't even say that we're too young to love because the only thing stopping people from loving at a young age is themselves."

After a long pregnant pause, I hear my mom give a defeated sigh and I smile in victory.

"Alright, fine, I'm letting it go for now, but if I hear about one bad thing going on while you're there then I'll be making sure you don't ever go back to that filthy delinquent," She pauses,
"And Your father will still try to talk you out of this!"
