I wish she was everything you ever wish.
I wish she offer you the world that even I couldn't.
The world that is full of fantasy but not with reality.
Because baby I have nothing to offer but the reality
The reality that I have nothing more to offer but all I am, body, mind and soul.
But you also showed me reality that it is not enough for you.
You wish to change me into something that I am not, something that I dread I would be
Something that is beyond my capacity, you wish to change me into someone else
You want me to be a yes-person, saying yes to everything you ever say, making a dumb, a fool out of me.
You want me to praise every land you step on, sing every word you speak, and dance to every song you make
You want me to worship you
But I couldn't, so you left
Your hands, once the gentle touch I long, but it became the thorns that surround my neck taking my breath away
Your lips, once speak of love, now speak nothing but of how worthless I am that I couldn't conform to every word you say
Your eyes, once a mirror of my future, shows nothing but the reality that you and I can't be together
Your kisses, once suck the poetry out of me, now taking my consciousness away
I wish she would do the things I couldn't do; praise every land you step on, sing every word you speak, and dance to every song you make
I wish she saw the future in your eyes.
Because baby, I am done with that.
