Ingrid's POV
2 years after the wedding
Me and my wife both have been wanting a child for a year now, and I think that we are ready. Hannah has already called the Adoption Agency and the Birth Giver to set up a time so we can see out future kid.
Hannah exits our bedroom with a smile. She wraps her arms around my waist and says, "We can see her today at 3:30."
I laugh and turn around to see her face staring up at me. "That sounds amazing. Im so happy." We both connect our lips together in a heartfelt kiss.
"Hopefully the court can allow us to adopt her. I have no idea how this is all gonna work. I never been in a court before.." Hannah's' voice trails off and I put my hand around the back of her neck.
"I know they will. We are more than capable to raise a child." I smile. "If the court doesn't like what we are doing, it's ok! We can try again in the future."
Her smile re-appears on her face. "You think?"
I chuckle at this and pull each of us closer. "Yep.I know it."

At the meeting (Hannah's POV)
"Mrs. Hart?" A lady says peeking out from the door.
Ingrid and I get up from our chairs in the waiting room and follow the lady.
She leads us to a relatively small room with a few chairs and a small play area. Must be for the children.
"Hi. You must be Hannah and Ingrid Hart." The parent of our maybe future daughter says to us, shacking our hands.
"Yes. And you must be Mrs. Fefferman!" I say to this slightly annoying woman.
"It says so on my drivers license! Now, I bet you want to meet Penny right?" She looks over to a little girl with huge glasses, hunched over playing her ds lite.
"Yep. That's why we're here!" Ingrid says.
"Ok that's good! Penny! Come here!" She shouts to Penny.
Penny walks up, adjusting her glasses on the way.
"Now Penny. Introduce yourself to these wonderful people." Mrs. Fefferman says to Penny.
Penny looks up at us and blinks. "Um. Hi?"

Penny's POV
"Penny! Come here!" My birth mom shouts at me, making me jump in my seat a bit. I shut off my game of Pokèmon and go to my mom.
"Now Penny, introduce yourself to these wonderful people." Mom orders me. I look up at these towering people, and my heart beats faster.
"Um." I blink. "Hi?"
The two girls look at each other nodding at each other. My heart seems a bit settled just looking at them.
They turn their heads back at me and ask, "Would you like to live with us?"
