Prologue
It all started with her.
Those green eyes and that crooked smile changed my life in a matter of seconds. The words come out of her mouth venomously : "I never loved you Roman, and I never will."
Those words crashed down on me so hard I felt like I was suffocating. Reality had set in. Everything she had ever told me was a complete and utter lie. I was so naive to even think that she had at least an ounce of love for me. When all she did was use me until I ran out of things to give.
But I just couldn't push her away, no matter how bad she was for me. I had loved her too much. I've never regretted something so strongly, never been so ashamed. I should have left her on the street where I found her, where she deserved to suffer. But instead, I cared for her, loved her, and provided for her. All that got me was a kid and a jail sentence.
