“Sadness”
What age do you come from, Oh Sadness?
Along with this utter and absolute madness!
The storm that brought you, has went away.
But its ruins and dark marks still stay.
I swear, since that day, the sun doesn’t shine!
It’s weak, very weak, this heart of mine.
Troubles are accumulated on top of each other.
They sit in my heart and complain from another!
I envy the ones that smile, brightly.
Their happiness outshines my pain, quietly.
They laugh at the tears that are in my eyes.
They can’t listen to this heart when it cries.
Dear Sadness, it aches. Yes, it aches, badly!
Even the birds have felt it and they say it’s madly!
You’ve been my guest for too long, it’s time you go away!
It’s been long since you came and you cannot stay!
