Y'know how, when Luis kissed my neck I said that it was enough and that it was bliss?
Well, well, well. This was nothing compared to that.
Here's my full account:

I was sitting up on his lap as he was laying down, half asleep. Once he said his dare, I leaned back down and place my lips on his. They fit perfectly. Then he opened his mouth. I was in the lead here. Our tongues danced together and I felt tingles everywhere. I'd never experienced anything like it.

He finally opened his eyes, seeming wide awake. "Now that's what I'm talking about. That was...almost as perfect as you" he said, in his raspy early morning voice.
"What do you mean 'almost'?"
"It would've been perfect if it never ended".
How do I fault that?

After we eat breakfast (we headed to the town centre and munched tasty omlettes at a fancy cafe), we sat in the car.
"So where does that lip lock leave us?" I asked, genuinely concerned about his response.
"One and a half hours from our destination".

I play the radio on loud and sing along really loudly. Then my phone rings so I turn it down. "Thank you, Jesús", Luis says loud enough for me to hear.

"Saaamm!! Urgh, how are you? Scratch that- just read your poetry in Swedish. All I need to hear is your voice."
Luis raises his eyebrows.
"That bad?" Sam laughs
"That good", I correct.
"Impressive. So how's San Francisco?"
"We're not there yet, silly. "
Silence.
Then in a serious voice "You should be. It's about 10 seasons of Sex and the City...I've watched a season and a half babe..."
I'm puzzled AF. "I'll call you back."
I stay silent. What are his intentions?
After a minute or two, Luis asks, "what was that about? Are you okay?" I shift my whole body round to face him, even though he's facing forward. "Did you deliberately stop off at all those gas stations to make it take longer to San Francisco?  Are we even going there?! Luis, stop the car!"
He sighs and huffs.
"Yes and yes"

I raise my eyebrows and huff. Then form an O shape with my lips. "That's it? That simple? You just go ahead and admit it?"
"I didn't murder anyone, what's the big deal? I wanted to spend time with you and make you happy."
"Take me back. Now"
"Wha-?"
I throw my hands in the air. "You could've at least told me. A simple 'hey Madz, I'm taking the long way to San Francisco cause I'm-"
He snarls at me. Juuuust scary enough for me to STFU.
He turns the car around and begins driving. I put in headphones and put on a sleeping mask to prevent looking or listening to him.

He ruined everything.

I knew it.

This was too good to be true.

Luke was right, I probably will be crawling back to him.
