"Yeessshhh, are you trying to get yourself killed in the most embarrasing way?" the robot made a sound which resembles a chuckle.
" Who are you?" I asked, terrified.
"I'm the AI of the titan you call Cynthia. Therefore, as written down on my program, my name is Cynthia."
"So... Cynthia, how do you drive this thing?"
"For starters, look at the screen." I turned my head at the holoscreen in front of me. I seemed to have made the machine fly.
At that moment, I panicked and I crashed onto the ground. People were running away, but Isandylle stayed and stared at me. She smiled and said," I see your a fast learner."
"I'll keep you from moving your real form. Inside here, whatever action your brain wants your body to do, the signal will instead be transferred to the titan's system. The main point is that I can read your thoughts, so try not to think too much since there is a possibility that a human can overload an AI's system."
I nodded, but my head wouldn't move. Instead, the machine's head bobbed up and down.
"Wait, so the only thing I can do in here is talk?"
"Yeah, but try not to move your mouth. I can hear what you think of."
'So you can hear this thought?' I thought.
"Yes, I can hear it perfectly. "
' So how do I fly?'
" With wings of course!"
' But humans don't have wings...'
"You use artificial ones right? It's on your back. Enough questions! Let's do this."
I tried getting up, but instead of my body moving, the titan stood up.
"According to my system, you need to get to Amonie. Shall I take over the navigation system?" Cynthia asked
'Please do!' I replied
The robot started running, but instead of going forward, as I wanted, it stood there.
" Fly!! The hangar is opening. We wouldn't want cannibals to swarm into the base."
I tried imagining wings and using it, but the titan stood still.I tried all I could until metallic wings shot out of my back. I tried moving it and the titan, along with the pair of wings, started moving. I could hear each beat as it moved up and down as quickly as a dragonfly's.
The titan flew upwards and to Amonie followed by humanoid creatures using metallic wings to ascend.
'Are they the cannibals?' I asked
" No, they're battalion S39p. You're all the reinforcements. " it replied
'good to know.' I thought as I drove the titan into battle.
