Chapter 8

"Bestfriend forever Gabbi," he breathed into my face.

I kept on remembering what happened yesterday as I sit down on my bed. He is not here, he said he got some errands so right now I am alone and having a deep thought. We almost kiss yesterday, we almost did before he said that bestfriend thingy.

I'm starting to get confused by him, last two month he was just mr. Nice guy who was telling me that he is my bestfriend and had that urge to help me with recovering my memory and now he is acting so sweet, protective and everything, all over me. I don't why it felt like he is leading me on.

Maybe he is not, maybe thats just how we act together? But NO, bestfriends doesn't kiss each other's faces off. I am kinda of upset with Cameron. I mean its just a uncontinued kiss but, ugh I don't know!

Sooner, I heard our doorbell rang. When I opened it, Caiden was standing infront.

"Hey, Caids." Calling her Caids feels like a deva ju.

"Hi," she smiled,

"So what's up?"

"I wanna hangout with you, I mean lets catch together." That sounds fun though. I agreed with her and let her in,

"How are you?" She asked, as she sat down.

"I'm fine," i headed to the kitchen and pour some juice on the glass and proceded back to the living room.

I don't know
what has gotten into me but I didn't hesitate and asked her this.

"Does Cameron have a girlfriend?"

"About that, uh, I don't know Gabbi. Rumors said Cameron and Serene got back together."

Serene? That name sounds familiar... Wait! Got it, she is Cam's ex-girlfriend. Maybe its the errand he is talking about. Why do I feel so sad about it, felt like jealousy rose inside of me. I just don't understand.

"Hmm, Caids did Cameron and I developed feelings for each other?"

She was a bit shocked, about what I asked her.

"Well? Some of us always thought that you guys are dating secretly. And i think you have though, the way you care for each other, those looks you gave and sometimes we can sense the jealousy between you and him." She paused, "but don't worry, I'm sure you guys are just bestfriends right?"

I looked her first then I nod. What was I thinking? Surely Cameron thinks of me as a bestfriend but why do I feel a disappointed. Could this get more confusing?!

"You look disappointed?" She noticed.

"No, I'm just thinking of something you know." I made up, and try to smile.

"Well if you are starting to like him, I can't blame you. I mean look you've lost your memory Cam's the only guy who has been there by your side and plus he is a nice looking person." She smiled.

"Hmm, to be honest I don't know."

"I know everything is confusing right now for you Gabbi, but if you settle your feelings out. Tell me. I'll do my best to advice or help you." She said and I gave her a warm smile. Great to have a friend like her.

"Thanks,"

Time passed by and we talked about a bunch of randoms stuffs and there is the time that she had to leave because its also getting late. So right now I am alone in my house and I'm hungry. So I decided to order pizza. After finishing all my food (PS. I didn't ate the whole pizza I just ate the half of it.) I walked up stairs to my room and watch some movies and lay in my bed like a potato.

It's been nearly 3 straights hours of me watching Harry Potter movies that I saw on my stack of dvds. I checked my phone and there is no sign of Cameron Dallas. No sign! Moments later my phone vibrated, thought it was him but its just my mom.

"Hey Mom,"

"Hey sweetie, how are you?"

"I'm fine,"

"So is Cameron there with you?"

"At the moment? Nope he isn't here."

"Where did he go?"

"I don't know? Maybe to his girlfriend?"

"Sweetie, I have to go now. Bye see you soon. Love you."

"Love you too."

Cameron's

I arrived at Gabbi house and I quickly walked to her room, she was talking to someone and I didn't to be eavesdropping but all I heard was she is saying I love you to someone. Wow, just felt a little pinch in my heart. She is that fast to find a boyfriend? Without telling me?

"I see, you've found yourself a boyfriend." i state, and she just looked at me.

"Jealous?"

"No way," I defend.

"Seems like it," she smirked.

"I have a girlfriend," I lied, her smirked disappears and turn into a frown.

"Congrats." She greets sarcastically and continued to watch the movie.

Guess, somethings never did change. Still watching Harry Potter.

"I see, you've found some of your dvd."

"Great, you simply have eyes and noticed it." She snapped.

"Did you already ate dinner?" I changed the subject. And she just nods. I sat down beside her and I scooted over a little bit near her.

She's seem in a very bad temper right now, wonder what happened all day

"How was you're day?"

"Fine."

"Just fine?" I ask.

"Yeah, just fine with you leaving me here and returning at 9 pm. I'm just fine, my day was just fine!" Gabbi retorted.

"Why are you so mad at me?"

"I'm not mad, okay?"

I dropped the subject and sooner she stopped watching and turned off the dvd player and the television.

"There's a spare room. I know you know where it is, so you can sleep in there." She said quietly. I don't why she is so mad at me.
