"First of all, you're not the only remaining descendant. There are others, for example, there is a fire family member still alive, but we don't know their name, or even their gender! Most of the other dragon family members, don't even know that they're related to the dragons up here. Anyways, welcome to the draglorian room. This room is essentially the home of the seven elder dragons, although supreme leader Kairos is not here right now, you can meet the others." Explained Laden. Sol looked around and saw a huge round room, with five other humanoid dragons, each with their own color. The room also had a giant chandelier, with golden dragon heads holding candles. Under the chandelier was a long, oval shaped table, with seven seats around it, the one at the end of the table was more of a throne though.
"That over there is my best friend Vasuki, the ruler of the fire dragon family Tanis (tah-nis)," Laden began. Vasuki was a large red dragon, who was about 8 ft. tall, and had fire on the tips of its long horns, sitting at the table. He looked very threatening, but let out a gentle smile.
"There is Azhi (ah-zee) the king of earth family Raknalor, he spends more time than anybody watching the humans. I think he has a bit of an addiction." Azhi was sitting by a window, watching the city outside. He looked quite old and wise. He was an olive green color, with a brown-gray beard and horns.
"Next is Kalseru, the queen of the wind dragon family Sahana." Kalseru was a bright yellow, and looked to be the most energetic of the dragons. She was fidgeting around, pacing the room. She had white wings with a yellow border. She looked at Sol, smiled, and quickly returned to pacing.
"Finally, we have Manasa, mother of the light family Sheenra, and Ouros, father of the dark family Lypse." Manasa was a bright white dragon, who sat across from Ouros, looking angry. Ouros was a black and purple dragon, who stared angrily back at Manasa. Neither noticed Sol. Sol knew it would't take a genius to know that these two hated each other.
Laden interrupted his thought, "Don't worry about remembering there names for now, I'm sure you'll get to know them eventually."
"They all seem like kind people. Did they start each of the families?" Sol asked respectfully.
"Yes. I'm sure you're wondering about the water family, no?" Laden replied.
"Yeah! Who leads them? And where are they?" Sol asked curiously.
"You know I was watching your fight with Asopus. Where do you think that water came from?" Laden asked, and watched Sol's face light up. "That's right. You're a Draekon, a water dragon family member, and I am the leader." Sol couldn't believe what he was hearing. Did he really get water powers just for being a Draekon?"Now, would you like to go back to your world? I believe after gaining this information, you may be able to control your power much more easily, and maybe take care of that Asopus fellow," Laden asked, encouraging Sol.
"I would love to, and in return for this power, I promise to protect the Draekon name for as long as I live!" Sol replied.
Suddenly, Sol's eyes opened, and he quickly realized he was back in the crater, and that no time had passed at all. He started standing up, feeling rejuvenated, and not even Asopus' blasts were hurting him. He climbed out of the crater, and Asopus stopped, confused and disoriented from seeing somebody just walk away from so many of his most powerful attacks. "How the hell did you survive that dragon boy?" Asopus shrieked.
"My name is Sol Draekon, not dragon boy, and I am a Draekon family member!" Suddenly, Sol shot a razor sharp disc of water, that flew through the air and cut Asopus' head clean off. Asopus dissolved into dust. This time, he was truly gone.
Sol knew there was no time to rest, he had to tell Tymek! He rushed home as fast as possible, somehow managing to avoid all of the people and carts on the street. He couldn't help but notice, ever since he had returned from the dragon world, he felt as if nothing could stop him, and nothing did!
When he arrived home, he busted through the door and explained everything to Tymek.
"WHAT? You went to the Draconic Chamber?" Tymek shouted, "That place is supposed to be a myth! and don't even get me started on the fact that you killed Asopus with a water disc! Huh, maybe I was wrong, maybe the dragon title suits you perfectly." Tymek calmed down a little.
"Yeah, I'm still trying to understand all of it myself, but I don't care about the confusion, I am a Draekon, and I met all of the legendary dragons!" Sol replied, eager to know what came next.
"Sol, I want you to do something for me. No, not for me, do it for all of the legendary dragons. I want you, to do everything in you power, to stop Zerek. Promise me." Tymek demanded.
"I promise. No matter what happens, Zerek is going down, and the legendary dragons will be avenged. Now the only question is, where do I start?" Sol asked.
"Follow the eastern road to Rockajin Volcano. It was said to be the ancient home of the Tanis family. I believe you will find your way once you arrive." Tymek suggested, knowing Sol would do as he said.
"Sounds good. I'll meet you at the end of my journey. I WILL return." Sol concluded.
"One more thing Sol. I wish to give you this," Tymek held out a sword with a wave pattern on the hilt. It had a large handle, and a very large blade. The strangest part was, that it had a hole going all the way through, that was made of a hollow glassy material. "This blade was next to you when I first found you. I want you to have it."
"It looks amazing!" Sol said in awe, "I'll take it, thank you Tymek."
And with that, Sol turned for the door, and began his quest down the eastern path. He had only been walking for an hour or two down the long path, when he saw two burly goons beating up a young red headed girl around his age. He quickly ran towards them to help the girl.
"Hey! Let her go! What did she do to you?" Sol yelled as he ran down the path.
"We have direct orders from our leader to kill this girl. Do you dare stand in our way boy?" One of the goons said.
Sol drew his new sword, and got into a battle position. One of the goons let go of the girl and charged towards Sol, while the other continued to beat the unconscious girl. Sol jumped up and struck the goon on the head while simultaneously dodging his attack. The goon fell to the floor, and a black goop started pouring from his head.
The goons were Zerek's minions.
The demon was enveloped by the goop. He floated back to his feet shrieking.
"YOUR DEAD BOY" The demon shrieked, as he shot a shadowy blast towards Sol.
Sol dodged the blast, and swung his swords with all of his strength into the demon. The demon began dissolving instantly. Strange, Sol thought, he could tell that the demons were of equal strength to Asopus, so why were they so easy now?
Suddenly, the other goon dropped the girl, and his skin peeled off revealing another demon. The demon shrieked and charged towards Sol, this time jumping and striking Sol from above. Sol fell to the ground, but quickly got back up, and launched his swords through the demon's chest. The demon began dissolving as well.
Sol ran to the girl, to check if she was still alive, and she was. The girl moaned and opened her eyes.
"Wh-What happened?" The girl asked groggily.
"You were attacked by two demons that were fighting for Zerek Dramaura. I know it may sound hard to believe." Sol told the girl.
"Awww man, did they over-power me?" The girl asked, suddenly seeming perfectly fine.
"Wait, you're ok? Aren't you surprised at all that you were attacked?" Sol asked, shocked at the girls condition.
"No, I'm fine. I'm used to fighting them, they drift from the volcano a lot, and end up attacking villagers. I'm supposed to beat them. It's my job." The girl explained, "My names Vania by the way."
"Did you say volcano?" Sol asked.
"Yeah, were you on your way there?" Vania asked.
"Yeah..." Sol replied. He knew Vania was thinking of something.
Vania cheerfully said, "Great! I'll come with you! I've been looking for somebody else who's strong enough to beat the demons! We can clear them out of the volcano together!"
