Seriously... you couldn't let me die!

Chapter 11

KAI'S POV

(From his quiet spot to the meeting room)

"Hey dude i'm going for a run, mind-link me if there's a problem ok"

"Ok boss, see you soon and be careful" Jared replied.

 Damn this stress is unbelievable, two weeks as Alpha and i'm already close to losing it, i stay in human form as i run to my spot, it's a small grassy area that exists right next to the river that happens to run through all the territories. Since the younger generation has taken over we've tried to stop most of the fighting between the packs, thinking if we communicate more it may work, so we've planned to make the Alpha meetings at least once every month, in-case there are any problems we can sort them before it turns nasty, we had one set up ready for three days time.

Laying down on the grass i try my best to destress, i calm myself completely and drop my walls and open my senses, i finally have five minutes to think.

".......wasn't going to happen.."

Sitting up suddenly after i hear the voice, i immediately try to answer back thinking the pack is in trouble. "What's not going to happen" but i'm only met with silence.

Opening the mind-link between me and Jared, i quickly ask if he or anyone in the pack are in danger, he's quick to answer.

"No boss everything and everyone is great why?"

"No reason, i'll be a bit longer yet ok" i said distracted, without waiting i closed the link.

Thinking about the strange voice i didn't recognize it, so it couldn't of been anyone in my pack so who the hell could it be, after calling out in my head for an hour i was about to give up.

"Anyone there?" one of the voices spoke out.

"This is a waste of time, it was probably a psycho anyway" another voice spoke, 'wait was she calling me a psycho'.

 "Who you calling a psycho" i asked.

"Oh my goddess you're back" she said back shocked.

What does she mean back, i haven't left and why is she shocked. "Hey your the strange voice in my head, your the one calling me a psycho and now you have the audacity to be shocked" it went quiet for a few minutes.

"Hello, hellooo.... anyone there?" i asked and again no answer. 'no, no, i've cracked, the stress have finally got to me,great my mother was right', i couldn't help thinking.

Again the second voice spoke."Don't you talk to your wolf" she asked, i answered immediately.

"Of course but your not my wolf now are you?" i stated.

"I could be" she spoke back, this girl must be crazy, either that or i am.

"In-case you missed the hint with my voice, i'm definitely a man which means my wolf is male, i also know your not a member of my pack either because all wolves recognizes their pack by sight and voice instantly, so who are you really?" i said a bit irritated.

"I could of had a gender swap KAI!"

How did she know my name, i haven't got a clue who she is, am i really going crazy, she obviously a werewolf since she knew about my wolf, 'hold on.. my wolf'.

"Hunter...Hunter! i yelled in my mind.

"What's up Kai?"

"Can you hear any voices you don't recognize?"
