We got to the Jade pack just before sunset, the twins were back to their normal happy annoying selves, going by the random insults they kept throwing at each other and me, i knew not to take it to heart with these pair like i would have in the past.
When we reached the pack house Jaylin was already waiting, this pack house was similar to the Topaz pack, after the normal meet and greet with the Alpha and Betas he gave us an hour to freshen up before he was introducing us to the rest of the pack.
When i say freshen up it meant i go to my room with the twins following me and standing guard, after last time they weren't taking any chances, it's just a shame we don't know who to trust.
I wasn't nervous about meeting this pack, maybe because i knew the worst is yet to come and it just kept my mind preoccupied, i don't know whether to keep this pack visit short or prolong it.
After unsuccessfully trying to calm myself down i finally built up the courage to open the door and as expected there stood the twins, but what wasn't expected was the coloured fog that surrounded them again, i couldn't help it, i stood there staring then blinking i thought it was just my mind going crazy again but nope there it was.
'Sky you seeing this?'
'Yeah we've seen this before but when, how?' Sky seem just as confused as me.
"Is there something wrong with your eyes Ali?" Gabe asked amused.
"Or is it our stunning good looks your dazzled with" Luc chuckled.
I looked at them frowning having no clue has to what they were referring to until Luc started imitating me, i started growling then shoving past them bumping each of their shoulders hard and stomping off towards the Alphas office, on the way i kept stealing small glances at the other wolves hanging around, i noticed everyone had a colour, a few had the same while one or two had a completely different ones, i needed to work out what it meant and why were there so many colours. At first i thought it may have been one colour for each pack, but after looking around i knew that wasn't possible.
We got to Jaylins office after a lot of strange looks, maybe i'm not as subtle as i thought, i knocked the huge wooden door and waited for confirmation to enter, i heard Jaylin shouting so we pushed open the door, Jaylin was sat behind his big desk taping away at his laptop and what did i do, i stood there staring.
'Peoples going to think there's something wrong with you Alexis the way your behaving' Sky spoke.
Surrounding Jaylin was a bright red fog, he didn't show any bad signs towards my weirdness so i walked over to the only sofa in the room, i sat in the middle expecting the twins to drop each side of me like normal, but no there they stood by the door arms folded, backs straight.
"They really do take being your bodyguards seriously don't they" Jaylin said trying to hold back a smile.
"Yeah they're not fun anymore since they think everyone is trying to kill me"
Both twins turned and glared at me while i smirked back.
"I was shocked myself when you contacted me, i didn't think you'd want to arrive here so soon after what happened, i heard you had a hard knock to the head"
"Nah don't worry about it, it was a stupid accident and all it did was turn my two fun best friends into my two worst wardens" i said fake pouting.
The twins couldn't keep their stiff composure after that so they both took a seat next to me relaxing only slightly.
"I'm glad Alexis because your also a member of this pack too and i'd hate to start a fight over an accident" he said all playfulness gone from his expression.
