Chapter 16

Jack's point of view:

"Tonight, we play hard. Fight hard. Win hard! You all with me?!" Couch Lombardi bellowed loudly as we were all gathered in the smelly, humid locker room.

"There's no need to ask. I'm always hard." Sam whispered quietly in my ear, causing me to chuckle lowly.

"ARE WE READY TO WIN THIS THING?"

"YES SIR." We all shouted in unity.

"Good. I expect to see you all out on the field in exactly five minutes. Understood?!" Couch yelled out one last time before turning to leave. Once out of the locker room, it was then when the chaos really began as everyone scrambled about and around, screaming among themselves as a way to get their bloods pumping for the game.

Turning to Finn, who showed no care nor interest as he leaned against his locker, I walked over to him as I put a hand on his shoulder. "Mate, you gotta give it a try."

"I did." He shrugged. "but pardon me if I'm wrong when I say that everyone on this team except for you wants me out."

Sighing as I saw the disappointment in my brother's eyes, I sat down on a bench which was placed between the row of lockers. "They'll come around. Give it some time man." I looked up at him, trying hard to fake a hopeful smile.

"Hah." He remarked sarcastically, however his face restrained of any emotions as he leaned his head back against the locker. "Who you trying to fool Jack? Your own twin?" He looked back down at me, his eyebrows twisting upwards in the 'I-know-you-too-well' expression he used to throw at me every once in a while when we were younger. Well, back before he got arrested and all. I must say, I quit missed it. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but no one would want a criminal on their team." He stated a matter-of -factly after a long pause.

Heaving a sigh, I shook my head as I stood up to be in an eye level with him. "You're not a criminal. You're my brother."

Cher's point of View:

"We should sit there!" Zoella pointed excitedly at a set of empty rows, the words "GO BADGERS" painted neatly on her left cheek in orange. All thanks to Demi.

Taking my hand, she startled me as she pulled me with her towards the benches, everyone else following suit behind as people rushed about, talking amongst themselves in excitement. Some were carrying hot dogs in their hands, others had the big old Bristol symbol drawn on their faces, and a few were waving the Bristol flag above their heads enthusiastically.

"Move. I'm going in first cuz I like the corner." Troye rushed to my side as he squeezed himself between the hundreds of people walking around the bleachers.

"You know, one time I read in a magazine that people who always choose to sit in the corner are usually known to be anti- social?" Caspar teased Troye loudly as he tried to get his voice heard across all the commotion. "It's proven scientifically."

"Since when do you read magazines Caspar?" Ariana laughed, earning a middle finger from a him as he mocked her voice.

Sitting down next to Troye, I looked towards Andrea, who was sitting next to Ariana and Caspar. I was beyond glad about how well she was getting along with everyone.

"I want a hotdog so bad!" Zoe groaned as she rubbed her stomach.

Laughing, I nodded my head in agreement. "Troye, do you wanna go get us some hot dogs?" I batted my eyelashes innocently as I gave him my famous puppy dog eyes.

Looking up from his phone, he chuckled humorously. "Is that a sick joke?"

I opened my mouth to respond, but was cut off as a loud music suddenly boomed through the speakers. Standing up, everyone screamed in chaos as the Bristol cheer leaders ran onto the field, their skirts barely covering their bottom half as their tops exposed their flat stomachs.
