Chapter 35

Nicki was at acting technique after school. They were working on emotion through acting. Nicki already knew how to show emotion and could do it very well, but she could always get better at it.

They had been put into pairs and had to show sadness in a relationship of any kind. Nicki had been paired with Christopher Brown. They had decided on the relationship between two siblings who were going through a tough time with their parents.

Nicki was now back at home and getting ready to go to the cinema with Lauren , Drake and Safaree. Nicki and drake had told Safaree about their relationship, so it was only him and Lauren that knew.

She had got out of the shower and was now getting dressed. She was wearing a plain grey crop top and some light blue skinny jeans. She decided on her black puma suedes for shoes and didn't wear a jumper. She changed her belly bar to light blue one and then went and did her makeup. She kept it light and just left her hair down in its natural waviness. She made sure she had everything before she headed downstairs.

She found drake sitting in their living room talking to her parents. She hadn't even heard him arrive.

Mama C: there she is

Drake: you ready to go

Nicki: yep

He stood up and walked over to her.

Drake: you look beautiful

Nicki: why thank you handsome

Drake: my pleasure

they walked out the house and made their way to drakes car. They got in and drove to the cinema.

They found Lauren and Safaree waiting outside for them. They walked over to them and greeted them...

Safaree: that film was brilliant

Drake: yeah

Nicki: it was better than I thought it would be

Lauren: vin diesel still looking hot as fuck

They all laughed. They had just finished watching fast and furious 5. They were now making their way to their cars.

Lauren: so I'll see you tomorrow yeah nic

Nicki: yep. Same time

Lauren: yep

Safaree: where do you guys even get the energy for jogging man

Nicki: it's not energy it motivation. We stay motivated and so we carry on just like you and stunting

Safaree: fair enough

They all laughed before saying their final goodbyes and going their separate ways.

Nicki and drake were sat in drakes car at a hilltop as they shared a pizza.

Drake: I love spending moments like this with you

Nicki: me too

She opened the car door and got out. She went and sat at the front of the car on the grass. It was a bit chilly but she was wearing his hoodie so she wasn't that cold. Not long later drake came and sat next to her.

Drake: what's up

Nicki: nothing bae

She laid her head on his shoulder as he took her hand into his.

Drake: you know something

Nicki: what

Drake: we're gonna be mad tired at school tomorrow

Nicki: I know. But I don't even care

Drake: neither do I

He kissed her forehead. They both just looked out at the city lights below them.

Nicki was sat in music with drake sat next to her. She was hardly paying attention and was daydreaming. She was pulled out of her thoughts by drake calling her name.

Drake: nic

Nicki: yeah

Drake: c'mon we gotta go write a song

Nicki: brilliant and how long do we get for this

Drake: two lessons and the rest as homework. Performed in the third lesson

Nicki: great

Drake: now that's not the spirit

Nicki: white boy. Imma kick yo ass if you keep bugging me

Drake: aww I'm sorry baby.

He kissed her cheek before opening his notebook ready for lyrics.

Drake: so what type if song are we writing

Nicki: best I ever had. Now leave me alone

He was confused at first but then it clicked to him

Drake: why didn't I think if this

Nicki: because you're not smart enough.

Drake: -.-

She gave him a dimple shrug before laying her head on the table. He did the same and just looked at her. They both chuckled.

Nicki: stop brey I'm tired

She spoke between laughs

Drake: oh well. Not my fault

Nicki: the hell it is your fault

They both laughed.

Cassie: what's so funny love birds

Amber: yeah shared the joke

Nicki: doesn't matter

Cameron: so how much of your song have you done.

Drake: finished

They looked at them like they were crazy.

Cassie: we've only been working on the task for 5 minutes

Nicki: well I guess me and drake have ninja skills

They all laughed.

Amber: but have you seriously finished.

Nicki: yep

Omarion: wow.

Drake: so for the rest of you , you have two lessons off you go

Nicki: what he said

They glared at the two.

It was now lunchtime and nicki was sat on drakes lap with her head on his shoulder. She was once again on his bbm. Nicole a girl from one of their classes then walked over.

Nicole: hey , urm drake could I speak to you for a sec

Drake: yeah sure.

Nicki got off his lap and him and Nicole walked a little away from the group so that they couldn't her them...

When he got back he went and sat on his previous seat. Nicki was now sat against the tree and didnt move back to his lap.

Cameron: so what did shawty want

Drake: oh she wanted for us to go out for dinner tonight

Omarion: and what did you say

Drake: yes. I mean why not

Cassie: fair enough

They all went back to what they were doing but were all glancing a look at nic to see how she felt about it all and she seemed unbothered and smiling about something she was doing on drakes phone.

Drake: nic can I have my phone back for a sec

Nicki: yeah sure. As long as I get it back after

She passed it to him and he sent her a text.

Yeah , why wouldn't I be xxxxxxxxxxxx -Girlfriend🌸

Nicole ... xxxxxxxxxxxxx -Boyfriend💕

He got up and passed nicki his phone before getting up and walking away with his bags and stuff.

Omarion: where ma man going

Cassie: no idea

Cameron: nic ?

Nicki: no clue

She waited a little while until they were of the subject of drake before she then made a discreet disappearance. She went and found drake sat in his car. She went and got into the passenger side. He just looked at her.

Drake: speak to me

Nicki: I'm not bothered , unless it ends up getting serious then I'm gonna trust you

Drake: are you sure

Nicki: yes baby. I'm sure

She reached over and took his hand into hers and interlocked their fingers.

Nicki: I love you

Drake: I love you too

They leaned in and shared a kiss. Nicki smiled into the kiss causing drake to smile as well. He took her bottom lip between his teeth as she chuckled. They pulled away after holding it for a little while.

Drake: my baby

It was about 9:30pm when nicki heard a knock in her bedroom window. She was slightly freaked out and grabbed her baseball bat. She went and opened the window and saw drake sat on the tree.

Drake: hey baby cakes

Nicki: what are you doing

Drake: thought I'd come and see you

Nicki: well nice for letting me know

Drake: thought I'd surprise u

Nicki: -.-

Drake got down from the tree and went into her room. He stood in front of her and put his arms around her waist.

Drake: gimme me a kiss

Nicki: is that lipstick on your cheek

Drake: urm , noooooo

Nicki: -.- nigga

Drake: okay maybe it is but it was just on the cheek I promise now give me a kiss

Nicki: white boy I don't know where those lips have been

Drake: only on you baby

He leaned down and started kissing her neck. She but her lip and smirked.

Drake: now give me a kiss mami

He looked at her before leaning in and sharing a kiss with her...
