Theodore POV

I watch as Draya moved around her apartment. I wish I knew how to help her. I mean, I myself stay with my dad. He doesn't like people, so her staying with us is a no.

"Shit." She mumbled as something fell and broke. I walked over to where she was kneeling down in front of it, crying.

"Draya. It's just a picture frame." I sat down beside her for her comfort.

"What am I supposed to do?" I then realized this was more than that picture frame.

"You don't have any family or friends?" She shook her head no.

"My parents stopped talking to me once I came to Texas and my so called friends," she paused for a second. "Them fuckers blamed me for getting pregnant. So before they could get all their feelings about my pregnancy out, I left them. All of them." I shook my head this time.

That shit was crazy. I wished a nigga would blame me for getting raped.

"Draya you don't understand how much I wanna help right-" she cut me off.

"You've done enough Theo. I have to handle this one on my own. But I thank you so much. If it wasn't for you, I would've been freshly in my pregnancy with no roof over my head. I truly can't thank you enough for that." I shrugged.

"It was no problem." She gave me a small smile before getting up.

Draya is very beautiful. Before she got pregnant, her body and curves had my dick hard on somedays. Not saying her body don't look good because she's pregnant. But she had all types of niggas looking her way. Shit, I'm still looking.

The Next Morning

"Thanks Theo." She smiled as I placed her clothing bin in her car. All of her furniture went to the storage room in a U-Haul . I helped her out, playing for 3 months rent. My dad's gonna kill me but, I felt it was only right.

"Call me when you get settle in the hotel." She nodded, wrapping her arms around my neck.

"Be safe lil man." She giggled, moving my hands away from her stomach. I chuckled, but then stared down her face, reading it. I could see all the fear she had. I wish I could change it. I mean, her life just crumbled down these past 5 months. I also saw integrity. She had two choices, be a mother and struggle or the get rid of her child and live her life freely. Honestly, I loved women like her.

"Theo, please don't." I ignored her as I gave her a small peck on the lips.

"You're beautiful Draya. Remember that." I turned around from her, heading back to the leasing building.

Draya POV

I smiled to myself, getting into my car. Theo was a great guy, he didn't have to do a quarter of the things he's done. And the thing is, he never mind doing those things either. Maybe if things weren't different, we could've had something. But things are different and I'm here in life, pregnant and homeless.

A Few Weeks Later

"Congratulations Graduates, you've made it." My son began doing flips in my stomach. I am officially done with school, earning a degree in Designing and also a degree in Business. These past weeks have been hell. I've been living in this women shelter, but that's beginning to become overly crowded, so I need to relocate. But here's a plus, I don't have to worry about school anymore.

"Congrats Draya." I rolled my eyes at Naomi. "Thanks you too." I grabbed my things and headed out of the arena.

"Draya wait!" I heard behind me. I kept my pace to my 1997 Toyota Camry. I wasn't for the bull shit tonight. I just wanted to feed my son and get to my appointment.

"Draya I just wanted to apologize-" I cut her off.

"Thank you, but I have other things to do." I unlocked my car door.

"I heard what happened with your apartment. I would really like it if you would come stay with me." She offered.

"No thank you." I mumbled.

"Draya. Please. It's the least I could do for not being a friend to you." I shrugged.

"I'll think about it." I got in my car and was off.
