The next day, Pia told Naima that she would be the one to pick up the teens from school.

"Okay, take care," Naima said and giving her a kiss in the cheek.

Pia got her keys and walked towards her own car.

She unlocked it and went inside.

She checked her wristwatch and saw that school ends after an hour and thirty minutes.

She drove around town finding a place to stay when she decided that she'll just stay at a nearby mall.

She drove towards the direction of the mall and parked at the rooftop.

As she locked her car, she looked up at the sky and found that it's cloudy.

"Uhg, good thing I brought an umbrella," she said to herself.

She put inside her bag the small umbrella and walked towards the entrance of the mall.

She went to a fast-food restaurant and ate their.

She walked around the mall, window shopping, looking through pile of clothes, shoes, bags, and jewelries to wear on the show.

She did buy something, she decided to take something home for the Idols.

She bought a lot of pastries and stuff.

She checked her wristwatch and saw that an hour already passed. Thirty minutes left and she should be driving to school now.

She walked towards the exit and wasn't surprised that it was raining.

She brought out her umbrella and opened it up.

She was walking towards her car when someone grabbed ahold of her shoulders.

To her surprise, she turned around.

"James," Pia said softly.

Pia told James to join her under her umbrella so that he won't get sick.

"Pia, please forgive me," James begged.

Pia shook her head. She was about to answer when James started walking away.

She wasn't able to move. She was just watching James walk away under the pouring rain.

Suddenly, James was out of sight. She tried to find him but he was nowhere to be seen.

She saw him on the corner of her eye.

She walked towards a different direction and soon, she was walking behind him with James having no idea.

Suddenly, James noticed that it stopped raining; on him.

He looked up and was surprised and slightly embarrassed to see Pia standing there holding an umbrella over him.

"I already forgive you, last night, I just don't have the guts to say it,"

James didn't answer.

Then she extended her hand. He looked at it and sighed.

"If I sat out here on the curb in the cold rain much longer, I'd probably die of pneumonia," James joked.

"...which didn't sound like such a bad thing," he added.

Pia laughed.

"I haven't heard you laugh like that," James said.

"C'mon, the kids are waiting," Pia informed.

He grabbed ahold of Pia's hand, and she slowly pulled him up off the wet curb.
