Chapter 16

Rachel told the Idols to gather up on the beach to inform them a little background on what the Ford Music Video was about.

The Ford music video was about having fun on the beach as a big Idol family.

Suddenly, Rachel announced that there would be pairings.

Pia and Paul had their hopes up because they thought that they would be paired up but then, Rachel announced that James and Pia will be the first pair.

They will be doing a scene where they would act like a couple. Holding hands, cuddling, playing in the water and those things that lovely couples do.

As Rachel explained it to James and Pia, Pia kept on giving glances at Paul who were very down.

Pia mouthed 'I wish it was you' to Paul when James wasn't looking.

Rachel told them to head over to the director so that they could start shooting.

The second pair were Haley and Paul.

Paul was kinda happy that he was paired with Haley because they have this special bond together...and they were partners in crime.

They will be the ones who weren't going to the water. They will be the ones grilling foods for the Idols.

They headed to the make-up area so that after Pia and James' scene, they could start theirs.

The third pair was Naima and Scotty.

Their part in the music video is they will be the ones taking out the things from the car and setting them up on the beach.

They nodded as they got their role.

The fourth and last pair were Thia and Lauren.

Inside, Lauren was furious while Thia was kinda nervous.

"Okay, you two would be doing a sand castle," Rachel explained.

Thia and Lauren nodded.

"Chop chop everybody!" Rachel yelled through a megaphone.

Pia had been scolded numerous times by the director on the way she was acting.

She wasn't holding James' hand properly. She was only holding one finger and the director wasn't buying it.

He said it was too obvious in the music video that she weren't comfortable...like they weren't a couple...at all.

"I'll try again," Pia said.

"You better," the director said harshly.

She can't act cuddly with James and the director was getting kinda irritated.

But before the director could yell at Pia again, James chirped in.

"Can we have a second?" James asked the director.

"Sure, anything to make her better," the director replied annoyingly.

James sighed and took Pia a little farther.

"What's wrong?" James asked.

"I don't feel comfortable," Pia replied.

"Okay, just think that you weren't with me. Instead...instead, you were with Paul," James suggested.

Pia nodded. "Okay, I'll try," she replied.

Soon, Pia was getting the hang of it.

She was actually improving and the director was loving it.
