Chapter 21

"Homecoming"

Thia and Naima went home last week and now it is time for another elimination.

The results show has already started and it was a very very shocking and emotional at the same time.

Paul, Pia and Haley stand at the center of the stage.

"After the nationwide vote; I can you tell you that Haley...you are safe," Ryan announced.

Pia and Paul looked at each other. Pia was already in tears.

Paul wiped her tears and whispered, "Don't worry, me or you, well still be together,"

Pia nodded but she was not contented.

"After the nationwide vote, Paul...you are safe!" Ryan announced.

Pia turned to Paul and she cried on his chest with Paul hugging her like he don't wanna let her go.

After Paul let her go, Ryan offered her his mic and she sang "I'll Stand By You" one more time.

After the credits rolled, Paul called Ryan.

"Ryan," Paul called.

Ryan walked towards them.

"Can I borrow your mic? I just wanna say something before everyone goes," Paul said.

Ryan offered him his mic and stepped back.

"Excuse me; can I have a moment for a second?" Paul asked.

Everyone paused went back to take a seat.

"I know some of you just saw an article on the net about Pia and I and I just wanna give some confirmation," Paul said.

Pia tapped on his back.

"Are you sure?" Pia asked

"I am sure," Paul said.

"Everything that the article says was true. Pia and I are already together," Paul announced.

There was a big gasp coming from the audience and some clapped.

"And now I just wanna let you all know that I don't know what to do since she's not in the show anymore but, I won't let that get in the way of my dreams," Paul explained.

"When both of us are already outside the competition, we'll go public," Paul added.

"Thank you for your time and cooperation," Paul said smiling.

Ryan took the mic from Paul.

"I always knew you two are a couple," Ryan said.

Pia was packing her bags when Paul came inside her bedroom.

"Paul!" Pia said as she stood up and she hugged him.

"I'll miss you," Paul whispered.

"I'll miss you too," Pia whispered back.

She kissed him and he kissed back.

As soon as the kiss ended, Paul helped Pia packed her bags.

"I'm telling you I won't be saying goodbye because I can't. And I won't. And never will be," Paul said.

"That's why I love you," Pia said.

"I love you, too," Paul replied.

In Lauren, Scotty and Thia's high school, Homecoming Dance are only a couple of weeks away and Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery were candidates for Homecoming Queen and King.
