"You ready?" Taehyung asked as I put my apron away.
"Almost, let me grab my purse real quick." The boys were going to show me more of the city since I hadn't really gotten a chance to explore it.
"Ok let's go." I said smiling as a walked out with the seven guys. Each of them had a bad boy look today. Ripped jeans, dark shirts, flat bill caps, and black masks. I felt a little odd in my black skirt, blue top, and high heels.
We walked to the bus stop and got on.
"How's work been going?" I asked Namjoon who was sitting next to me.
"Pretty good. It's been really chaotic though." He said rubbing his neck.
"Oh I'm sorry. Maybe things will slow down soon." I said reassuringly.
"Do you listen to Kpop? I mean you're in Korea so do you listen to Korean music?" He asked getting excited.
"Um, kind of. I listened to it to help with my Korean. But I never really got into. I just didn't have time. I have a friend though that's really into it. She always freaks out over it but I never really pay attention." I laughed.
"Oh. Did you have a favorite song?" He asked.
"I don't really have a favorite song. I just like listening to music. What about you?" I asked.
"I don't really have time to have a favorite song since I'm so busy."
"That sucks."
"Yeah."
We got off the bus and started walking around. I felt like a celebrity surrounded by body guards since the boys stood around me and wore masks. I laughed at the thought.
The boys took me to shops around town that they liked and we grabbed food now and then. They bought me a few things that they said I'd look nice in. Jhope bought me and him matching hats. It was fun. I felt like I was back home hanging out with my friends on the weekend.
As we were walking down the street I noticed a couple of teenage boy with soccer balls doing tricks hoping to earn some money. Boy! Those skills got nothing on me!
"Omg look! Come on!" I grabbed whoever was standing next to me and dragged them over to the entertainers. I let go and asked for a ball. The guy passed me his ball and I flicked it up to balance it on my head. People started cheering and I brought the ball back down. I quickly took off my heels and threw them to the side. Being careful not to flash anyone since I was wearing a skirt, I did a trick called a rainbow. I hit the ball with my right foot, right thigh, right shoulder, head, left shoulder, left thigh, and finally left foot.
More cheers rung out and I prepared for what would be the finale. I balanced the ball on my foot and then flicked it up. Moving as fast as I could, I spun my foot around the ball and caught the ball with my foot before it hit the ground. I flicked it back to the entertainer and smiled as I merged myself back into the crowd slightly embarrassed by all the eyes on me.
I found the guys standing at the front.
"Wow! That was really good! How did you learn how to do that?" Taehyung asked amazed.
"I've played soccer since I was three. I've had a lot of practice." I said shrugging.
"Can you teach me how to do that?" Jimin asked.
"Sure but it's hard to do."
They each gave me a high five and we walked back to the bus stop as I carried my heels in my hand.
"Sorry for keeping you out late. I know you have work tomorrow." Jin apologized.
"No it's okay. I had fun!" The bus ride was filled with conversations as we waited to get off at our stops.
I stood up when we came to mine and I waved goodbye to the boys as I got off. I quickly ran up to my apartment on my tip-toes since I wasn't wearing any shoes.
Otis was waiting for me when I walked in. I threw my stuff to the side and walked into my bedroom to change into something comfortable. I laid on my bed as Otis walked all over me, reliving the best moments on the night.
When Jhope thought he saw a snake but it was actually just a stick. When Namjoon picked up a toy and it broke so we quickly left the store. And when we started drawing on Suga's face after he fell asleep while sitting on a bench.
Tonight, they decided to follow me back to my house to make sure I got home safely since it was a Friday night.
"This is where you live?" Jin asked. I nodded shyly.
"Yeah. My parents weren't willing to spend that much on where I lived. But at least I have a place to stay."
"It's smaller than ours." Taehyung said matter-of-factly.
"'Ours'?" I asked confused.
"Oh, we all live together." Namjoon stated.
"Oh really? That's cool. I've always wanted a room mate. But Mi didn't want to live in such a small place. Well, actually, I do have a roommate. You guys want to meet him?" They stood around confused and hesitant. The eventually nodded awkwardly.
They followed me up to the third floor and filed in after me into the apartment. Some of them stood in the living room and others stood in the kitchen because there wasn't enough room for all of them. They looked around the apartment, looking at pictures and objects that I had brought over with me and new Korean objects that held memories for me.
"Give me a second, I'm gonna go find him." I left the room and went into the bedroom where I knew he'd be. He was there laying on the bed, making a circle of fur where he slept.
"Otis. Come on. Let's meet some guest." I picked him up but he didn't complain. He just laid his head against my neck and slept there as I held him.
"This is my roommate guys. Say hi, Otis." Taehyung and Jhopes faces lit up when they saw the cat and walked over to me making a face that you would make when you saw a baby.
"Oh my god it's so cute." Jhope said taking Otis out of my arms. He didn't stay there for long. Otis is someone you'd call a scaredy cat. Strangers weren't his favorite people.
Otis didn't attack Jhope, just tried to get out of his arms. Otis was able to squirm out but when he went to jump down, Taehyung caught him and brought him into a tight hug. Otis looked like he'd rather die. It was pretty funny. Finally, Taehyung let go of Otis and he rushed over to me for me to pick him up. He tucked his head into the crook of my arm.
"He's shy." I said as Jungkook came over to me. He rubbed Otis' back in a slow, smooth motion. The cats tail twitched in delight. I smiled and let out a light giggle.
"Alright, we better get going." Jin said. "Bye."
"Bye!" The boys walked out the door and waved goodbye. I walked back to my bedroom and got ready for bed. I slept happily but what was coming in the morning would destroy me.
