~ABEL POV~

Tara was acting so weird in the bathroom I wonder what is going on between her and Charles I'm going to ask him.

"Charles let's go for a drive I want to talk to you bout some" I said while grabbing my keys off the table and heading out the door with Charles following right behind me. we get in the car and I start driving. a few miles down the road I ask him "do you know a girl name Tara rose" as soon as I said that he look at me "yea I know that b she was at my house last night" he said with a little anger in his voice.

"oh you sound like you don't like her. was her sex game that wack?" I responded back

"naw I don't like her and we ain't have sex last night that whore kicked me in my nuts. how do you know her" he asked back

"that's my girlfriend and can you not call her names please."

he looked at me and I looked right back at him "Charles is there something you want to say" I asked while laughing

he started laughing too and said

"she better be glad that she belongs to you or she would be a dead woman walking. but if that's your girl why was she at my house last night"

"we just started going out like 14 hours ago. but why you need to see me"

"you know you like a second son to me and you and drake are like brothers to each other" he said with pride in his voice

"yea y'all the only family I got" I replied

"well I want you and drake to have better lives and get off these streets. and make something for yourselves. be better than me. you wont be selling drugs for me any more son but dont worry I'll give you a check every two weeks for 1000 dollars. and try to stay sober." he tells me in a father figure tone

"you serious" I was in shock at what he told me

"yes son and you should stop hiding your talent from the world"

I gave him a confused look "what are you talking about"

"your singing voice son" he says

"I haven't sing since moms died I don't think I got it in me no more" I told him

"well think about it son I got connections with a lot of the important people in the music industry. who do you think they buy their drugs from" he said while chuckling

"they buy it from the best of the best which is you Charles the great" I said while pulling in the parking lot of my house.

Charles and drake are the only ones that know about my singing voice because they are the only ones that knew me before my mom died . I use to love to sing all the time. but when my mom died singing died with her.

We got out the car Charles went home and I went inside my house to see if Tara is ready. I took Tara to go get her car. she went home cause I had to go to work at taco bell.
