Elvis parents were Gladys and Vernon, Gladys was his mother and his father was Vernon. Minnie Mae Presley was his grandmother. He was born January 8, 1935 at 4:35, his brother, Jesse Garon was born at 4:00 A.M. he was a stillborn baby meaning he was dead when he was born. After Jesse died Gladys kept Elvis very close to her. Soon after Elvis was born Gladys found out she could not have anymore children causing her and Elvis to become even more close. Gladys never let Elvis play sports or do anything that would cause him harm. When he was growing up his mother would actually have him sleep in the bed with her.
